Sorry, I forget, unlike an elephant.
somewhere where you sit closer to your partner than the people on the 'next' table. somewhere where i can here what i say above the din of the 'music.' somewhere where the food and service has 'soul.' somewhere where it doesnt cost an arm and a leg to just sit down.
i'm currently hitting up the a-a-o- e-c-n- quite a lot. good honest food from la mancha, cooked well, understated but attentive service, a really good wine list, about 60 to 80 euros for two (even less if you're on the snacky menu)
how's that?

If you go to L'elephant try and get a table on the roof terrace - if you're inside you could be in any restaurant anywhere, outside makes it more special.
Hmmm - looks nice. I like French food but aren't the portions small? They love their meat too don't they? I'd probably be offered a token vegetable surprise.
