At work thinking about Ibiza (as usual) and wondering who people think is consistently or just the best one off performance they've seen on the terrace at amnesia?
 
Id go for sven as ive seen him there the most and seen him play the most blinding sets. Loco dice comes in at second

that's a hard one. consistently i'd now say sven. and richie, who also had a few appearances there over the last few years (cocoon guest sets and amnesia closing parties).

as for one-offs, here are a few which I found outstandingly good...

amnesia closing 2007: richie and villalobos (who were to play back to back) missed their flight and arrived about 5 hours late. this resulted in marco carola, who back then wasn't the big name he is now, playing a 6 hour set instead of one or two. massive. the vibe was also massive when richie and ricardo eventually turned up. last year of the old terrace layout too and my first ever amnesia closing. won't ever forget.

amnesia closing 2009: luciano. last year he really did it for me. and if I remember correctly it was also the year richie then played claude vonstroke's "who's afraid of detroit" as last tune. KILLER moment.

amnesia opening 2013: maceo plex. it's definitely his year (he was also really good at enter two nights ago)
 
Anyone see Luciano there this year?How did he go down? I guess he has changed quite a lot as a dj since he last played there?

Will try and catch him at ENTER at the end of August, but seems everyone is raving about him!

I'm intrigued by this too - is he doing anything different this year? Have not made it to his Tuesday's at Ushuaia this season either. Any reviews?

i've only caught the last 30mins when he played at cocoon last week. didn't think anything special about what he played. nothing too cheesy and at the same time nothing that stuck in my mind...
 
The Marco Carola of now doesn't even compare with what he was like back in 2002 when i first seen him... Proper banging techno!!!! :D
