To be fair, I'm with Johnny. Well, not entirely, the way you make your points is shocking, and that's coming from me. And your general attitude really makes me dislike you.
However, Haaland made bad tackles to Keane, hurt Keane, potentially could of ended his career and more importantly, gloated to Keane while he was on the floor. Keane did the same, only Keane's had alot worse consequences. Now I obviously would not condone a tackle such as that, but personally when I play football and someone goes out to deliberate hurt me, they get the same treatment, if my treatment is worse, your fault for playing that little game. I know for certain, if what happened to Keane happened to me, I would act the same way, only be slightly more tactful and maybe less harmful.
Keane was a legend of a player and one of the best I've seen in my lifetime, whatever his personality. I personally don't like him at all after his Shearer spout, in which Big Al destroyed him. 8)
Also, I don't agree with his statement at all, footballers should not devote their entire lives to football and I can't understand people who move to all sorts of locations just to play football. They have wives who need to enjoy a good quality of life, the same as us mere mortals do. I would not move to Sunderland for a job, no matter how good, so why should they ? The wives are part of their lives and should they leave their friends, families, life behind just to satisfy them, no.
Alsooooooooo, whoever said Puskas, legend, Eusebio, legend, blah blah blah. If you have ever seen more than 30mins footage of players like that I'll give you a tenner. The standard football fan response is to reel off all these names and say they were the best ever when they know nothing about them. In reality, even the best players from years ago, say Pele, would barely make the Premiership these days compared to the likes of players like Rooney. You take Pele, probably trained 4 times a week maybe by playing a few games of football and doing some fitness. Probably eat okay but didn't care too much for it, his talent was all he had and he would do nothing to build on it. You take Rooney, probably swooped from a pitch on a Sunday morning at around 8 years of age, since then been in the peak of physical fitness a man can be, eating right, having the best injury care, facilities, education on how to play. Pele didn't have a chance competing with that...
