Just the thought of "Oven Gloves" and "Barbie" in the same sentence is scary enough for me - the lady who throws caution to the wind every time she steps out of the house on a weekend - yet is worried about burns on her fingers..

They're not for me, they're for Tom, you should know by now I'm not allowed to use kitchen applicances 8O

I'm the same too-very overly organised in some areas. Reading this thread I've come to the conclusion women are organised and men are damn lazy :spank: .
Behind every successful man there is a stronger woman, but we get bad press as its called "nagging" :x .
Then these men would be lost and very disorganised without us ;) .

It's probably called "nagging" because... well... it IS nagging!

Nag nag nag nag nag nag nag! All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy!

I also fold the toilet roll into a point every time its used

Think I get it from my dad, he holds his breath in a lift if he can 8O and when he goes shopping he takes his flash wipes with him to wipe the trolly handle   bless him
So, Leese, are you trying to say that obsessive compulsive runs in the family?

 I think so, its in the genes, my aunt is the same, I had a bath at her place once, and as soon as I got out she was in there with her squirty bottle and cloth to clean, I didn't think I was THAT dirty :?

I've learned to stop nagging, and just get on with my house wifery duties in peace, with a smile on my face :P

When I go out, everything must match and look right. Other then that, where I toss it is where it will stay untill I can't take the mess. Then I clean like crazy for five or six hours, everything in it's place, only to mess it up again within a 24 hour period. My packrat tendencies don't help (I keep recepits and bits of paper from everything!) and yes i tend to be a bit lazy. My lady tells me thats because my energies go to thinking, and thus cannot be tied up with mundane things like focusing on putting an object back where it belongs..... now what where we talking about again? 8O

Please teach that to my wife!

The funny thing is, I may create more dirt (especially since I'm the one that cooks) but she's much messier. Leaves stuff all over the place in the bedroom and living room. Then yells at me because I didn't wash a glass I used.

 the only time our place is in a mess is if we're getting ready to go out, I really dont know what happens, its shocking, oh and its messy if the kids are over

Yes but are you always walking around after Paul? does he mess up the mess that you just tidied a day before in less than 30 seconds :?

And why should it be the girls that are doing all the housework? it is modern day, it shuold be split and done without even having to ask.

No you didnt tidy the house of your own accord, i had to ask you to help me (as usual) ;)

By the way dear, theres another load of ironing on the table that belongs to you! ;)

I spend most saturdays cleaning, and if Pauls out and he comes home then it gets a little messy, shoes by the front door, keys/wallet/phone just chucked on the table, but I just keep smiling, and maybe let off a little huff under my breath

I have totally opposite views to you mambs, Paul has his jobs I have mine, I cant stand it if he attepts to do any washing, he does clean the house if he's home from work, but mostly he'll do his jobs, like mowing the lawn, cleaning the cars, building the conservatory, painting the house etc etc, plus he pays all the bills, and works 722 hours a week, so I feel like its only fair that I should keep the house :P ;)

Totally understandable chick, Pauls never there so the house wont get messy will it!

No, Joey is trying bless him. I suppose it doesnt help that im such a tidy freak :? but on the other hand he does love me soooo much so i guess i should be gratful for that, who else would have me ay
