Higly recommendable! kinda pricey still but im sure the prices will drop soon. anyone of you got these? and are you happy with this system so far?

go get one in New york from the apple store... i saved £60 on a 20GB one... if the rate keeps going up, u'll prob pick one up 50% cheaper than UK/Euro list price...
 
No good for gym use though are they!

dunno, dont do gyms... yet!

ive got a sports arm strap for it...

Cos hard disk machines don't like being banged around.

Solid state (flash card) ones are better for heavy use but don't have anything like the memory.

It is possible to cram a lot of tunes on a flash card but wouldn't recommend anything less than 500MG/1GB.

then dont bang down the gym!
 
im only ever gonna be in the gym for 2hr max.

i also use it in the car (ive got a built in cradle which charges it).

so battery life aint an issue for me... just wish i got the 60GB iPod Photo... cos 20 aint enough!

I know, I've filled 5GB in a day and not even put any of my cd's on it...and I have so many problems now choosing what to listen to, its going to make life far too hard
