That's a good thing! You get all the fun of parenthood and none of the crap. When you're bored, you can go play with the kid for a few minutes and then, when you're done, you get to give him/her back! :D

Being an aunt doesn't make you old... I've seen cases where the aunt/uncle is the same age as their niece/nephew...

Jessy I have 4 nieces (9, 4, 1.5 and 0.5 yo) and a nephew (5 yo) and it's fantastic to have them arround, a bit exausting when they are all together but I can't imagine life without them, really. ;)
 
I've got four neices and nephews back home that I rarely see, so I just send them really expensive birthday/Xmas gifts over at the right times of the year so they know how cool and worldly I am...

Oh, and I've got Robder, Aleix and the Embarrassing Brighton Cousins to look after too. :lol: Talk about being kept busy!

What are you crying for?? It's not happening to you!

I love my sister's kiddies, they're so precious. :p My brothers aged 19 and 10 are uncles and they cope OK. ;)

I was 22 when my elder niece was born and she always says I'm her fav aunty cos I'm younger than her other aunts, cos I like pink and play make up with her :lol:

I'd love to have neices and nephews.
A good friend of mine has a nephew who is older than her.

She is the youngest of 9 kids, and her oldest brother had a baby when he was 19, then she was born. Even though her nephew was a year older than us, we were in the same class at school and he called her Aunty ! :lol: :lol:
 
jessy, i fear for you nephew/niece 8O ;) (only joking!) you'll love it, you get all the good bits about kids and almost none of the bad;) :) :) 8)

and forget about your age, i was a dad younger than you will be an aunt;)
