Judge Jules....................................

Like you said Stu, I used to like him but I think he sold out years ago and that's why people slate him so much  :?

I hear what you are saying and if he likes what he is playing then fair enough but he changed his style.

DJ'ing should be about playing what you love and if money comes with that fair enough. It can be done - you dont see MAW going from the old King Street style percussive house they have always done to the latest in banging trance on Positiva.

For me that is unforgiveable.

Jus search for jules posts exactly the same as this to see why we aggreed he wsas actually pretty good.

PMSL, altho Kenny does like to switch into Homeboy mood now and again where he plays 8O

Music is all about opinions. In my opinion, i dont like Judge Jules. In others opinions, some do and some dont. Fair enough.

I've only seen him play once, at Judgement Sunday. And i didnt like his set one bit... i mean come on, an average trance tune (4 Strings - Let It Rain) with some of the most cringeable (is that a word!?) vocals randomnly over the top of it (Sonique's). That was enuf to put me off.
As i said earlier, Halliwell came on after and showed him how to rock the place properly ;) Such a technically better DJ in everyway possible...

Yes Jules gets crowds, hes been around a long time, and is a renound name in dance music. Yes, he was good, back in the days of Gatecrasher like in 1998, 1999 etc (I've got lots of his sets). But now i dont like the music he plays in general, and havent done for the past few years.

Theres no right or wrong answer. You can either like him... or not! :)

For the Judge's defence i'll have to say that he hosts a great show on radio 1, where he features some of the newest yet finest releases (not just trance ones) 8O

As a DJ he's pish though, as most of the people here would probably agree ;)
