Joy of 6!!!!!!!!!!

I don't care who it was - have heard that it was Utd fans letting one off for each dead as well.

Interesting that you've turned your back on them as soon as they lose!

you know what Clara i didn't think you would be capable of coming out with the same inmature nonsense as the rest of them but it appears you are, you know quite well what team i support, so what if i have a liking for Man United, im certainly not the only football supporter on the planet who has a liking for another club.

Now please stop annoying me.

ahh the NASL.......like a semi-retirement home for the greats!!!
Yes, those were the days... the Cosmos had Pele!

I had a Washington Diplomats commemorative frisbee somewhere back home.... hope it didn't get lost when my parents moved

and beckenbauer, dennis tueart.

did they have George Best for a bit as well? I know Rodney Marsh did a stint over there too, not sure who for though.....Seattle Sounders rings a bell??

Best did indeed play in the States for a bit.

The MLS is continuing the grand tradition. Item: David Beckham

Your poor girlfriend

I am quite aware of the banter that goes on at football matches, aimed at certain players, their families, the clubs history etc etc. I am simply saying that there's no need to commend people for doing what any other decent human being would do.

It's not every day that the common will of the decent majority exerts absolute influence over the indecent minority, Miss Boo. I'm willing to celebrate that.8)

My point was that anyone who would consider causing trouble during the minutes silence would be a mindless retard, non?

I'm not saying all City fans would do

Of course, but it's hardly commonplace amongst our fans and sadly you get idiots everywhere. Less of the rolly eyes smilie too, missy!

I'd stick a tenner on the fact that even if there hadn't been all this hysteria in the media pre-match, there wouldn't have been any trouble. We don't need to be told how to behave!

Jonny - it's called banter, lighten up. You are quick to go on about how great Utd are when they win, so it's natural you're going to get your leg pulled after Sunday's game - I'm sure if they'd hammered City, you would've made a comment too.

"It's only a game, so..."

I'm all for banter, it's well known on this mesage board that im a Celtic fan and it just becomes a tad tiresome and repetitive/boring when you see the same nonsense about how i support x amount of football teams:rolleyes:

I might have commented that if United would've won it would've been a fitting tribute to the Busby Babes or something to that effect, but credit where credits due city deserved the win.

One thing Clara, how come you don't support Celtic or Rangers or even Partick or Clyde if your from Glasgow, find that a bit bizzare:eek:

Not too many ways to interpret "mindless retards"! ;)

I shall reiterate...

My point was that I didn't think anyone should be applauding people for NOT causing trouble during the minute's silence. I.e the small percentage of Man City fans who could have done this. Not ALL Man City fans, just that percentage. Those are the people I'm saying are mindless retards!

Anyone read the stories today about all the Man utd fans trying to make a quick buck on Ebay with those scarves????

Thoughts please...
