I'm insanely jealous....
Aw, look at Bec's grumpy little face where she's laid up with her leg bandaged!![]()
The good news is she's on the mend and it's stopped raining.![]()
Poor little Boo![]()
Last spoke to her yesterday and they were finally on the move and heading to Phuket.

god I'm super jealous - so much so that I've actually decided to do a very similar thing this september and go travelling for 6 to 9 months (or until I get bored) prior to moving to london.
Still sounds like they're having a fantastic time despite bec's abcess problems![]()
Going to "walk the earth" there Nickisan?god I'm super jealous - so much so that I've actually decided to do a very similar thing this september and go travelling for 6 to 9 months (or until I get bored) prior to moving to london.
Where you off to Nick? We are thinking the same sort of thing.
well a couple of good friends have just come back from 4 months in india and had a fantastic time, so I'm definitely going to do a few months there, probably 4+ with some time doing something 'volunteery', followed by trekking round south east asia (vietnam/laos/cambodia/thailand/wherever else) I expect and possibly china depending on how much cash I manage to save up.
Planning on taking around 9 months out (sept through may/june) so I can return and look for jobs in london starting in august/september time. Might pop over to ibiza for a bit maybe to work out there![]()

but not really planned anything.
Quite want to learn spanish too so that's another option - south america or possibly even just working in a bar in spain for a few months.
I'm going to go by myself so it'll be an experience. Figure it's the best time for me to do it - I'll have 2 years work experience under my belt, I've not had a gap year and I'll be able to return to live in London![]()
very excited already, just trying to save up enough cash to be able to afford to do all I want to do!
Yeah Im thinking about asking work for 9 months off and finishing up here at beginning July and spend summer in London, enjoying myself and possibly doing one or two course I want to do.
Then head off on travels in September and do a month in Thailand/Cambodia etc, 2-3 months in Australia and NZ and 2 months in South America with a view to learning Spanish in Buenos Aires.
