Don't know if you guys can ask them to release early or give some kind of indication as to what night it will be! While I had a great night, you can't really have a Digweed fan rocking up at 3AM having missed his "hour" set and getting MK!

This night is in danger of mixing it up too much that none of us have a damn clue what we will find there at 3AM. And as you know this is coming from one of its BIGGEST supporters of Insane all last year......
 
digweed's early set was apparently because of a radio recording. i've suggested they should announce set times a few hours beforehand just as many other nights do nowadays, not sure they will do it although.
 
I think they've really mixed it up. They seem to be going with Ferrer + MK + Digweed a lot (haven't checked the line-up thoroughly btw), but from what I can gather having been to the opening, and having seen reports since, they've swapped what order they do their sets in week to week.
 
Could there be some balancing of egos at play here too? i.e. Some artists not happy with their early set-times? We know Mr Sneak had a few catty tweets last season with regards to early sets!
 
I'm only going to Insane for Digweed, will be hacked off if he's only on for an hour, would rather not bother. What is a Ferrer and Reebot dj set like, haven't had the opportunity to hear either of them play?

each to their own of course - but Reboot is very boring in my view. Ferrer is excellent but not similar to John in terms of musical style...

where are you from by the way mate? My night has John on in August in Liverpool...

Personally I thought Reboot was brilliant last week. He really got the crowd going, and built up the energy levels. He puts his damn all into it!

I'm only going to Insane for Digweed, will be hacked off if he's only on for an hour, would rather not bother.

I think we have to hope that this was really just a one-off and that Digweed had to make a sharp exit due to other commitments. I am trying to get people who know people that I don't know really, but met once who know some of his people (you know what it's like in Ibiza when you've had a few) to confirm if the reason above: "radio commitment" was the real reason.....

I'm from Dundee mate. John used to play at my mates night a fair bit but that's going way back, not that often he plays in Scotland so I'm pretty keen to catch him while on the white isle.

musically it was pretty good. not as busy as insane normally is, but definitely much busier than any wednesday last year. vibe was a tad flat though.

The line-up looked really great but that was my worry, tbh. It's a long way to come for a pose-a-thon. Sometimes you just get a gut feeling !

Cool, hopefully it gets appreciated more! Out of interest, was it Wisdom décor or Insane décor inside? Some of that WOTG stuff was pretty trippy last year. However, I do love what they have done with Insane in terms of brand this year. It's slightly Elrow-Lite!

Personally, this June is THE busiest I personally have ever known it! In the likes of Insane, Ants, Elrow, Cocoon.... I thought the vibe was more September at times.
 
decor was basically insane deco with some of last year's WOTG stuff too.

it's definitely a VERY busy june yeah. it looks and feels so much busier than normally in june. pretty curious to see the airport stats.


i don't think there are a lot of 'flat vibe' parties at the moment, in a way partying has generally become a bit more 'quieter' in the last two years, bit less crazy
