agree 20th june looks VERY tasty. am no fan of reboot neither. before and after 'caminando' he just doesn't exist on my map.
I'm just so sad that they have flung him in with MK to fill the club. MK attracts a really awful crowd in UK and his music is really not my bag
The comments regarding MK and the crowd in the UK i agree with. However i feel that that may not necessarily be the same in Ibiza, and especially in Pacha.
Not that I generally bother to arrive at Ibiza big clubs much before 3.30 - 4am these days, but still ...
Its Friday night, the crowd will be a lot more international than a week day evening and the club are offering something for everyone.....
John Digweed in Pacha.. Close your eyes and it would be just like the old Renaissance @ Pacha daysWhat time is the restaurant open until?
kimajy - i take your point, and i understand where you are coming from.
However, looking at it from the promoters/clubs point of view (which when discussing line ups and why DJ x and DJ y are on the same bill is how you need to look at it), i think Pacha have nailed it. Its Friday night, the crowd will be a lot more international than a week day evening and the club are offering something for everyone.....
I am quite sure that Insane will enjoy a great season to be honest. The line ups are strong (MK aside who i dont really enjoy) but the likes of Dennis Ferrer will bring a string underground side and then the likes of John and Reboot (who again is not for me personally) will then finish the night off.
Would i prefer to see John in Space as opposed to Pacha? Probably, but he has been there and done that. This Pacha 'residency' is something different that i think suits both artist and club/promoter.
Digweed final set to give a clear 4 1/2 hours of stuff I want to go out to hear
