Ive found that if you book online then you get the rooms at the front facing the sea, all have air conditioning but these are the ones that sleep 6, so if theres 3 of you theres a chance you will get a different room.

I booked at the travel agent and asked for a sea view - does that mean I won't get one because I didn't book online? I'm worried

They are mega cheap arent they? But just HOW cheap is what I wanna know? I don't want to be staying in a hole!

That would worry me. Half the price of stuff in the same location? The catch has to be a pretty big one....

But when it's a choice of staying somewhere mega cheap or not going at all....

I reckon you will get one if you have asked for one, most of the bigger ones have sea view anyway, if not just tell reception that you want it, they are all very helpful.

Just come back from Garbi apartments and I can recommend them. The rooms have a kitchenette and very good air con. I woke up a few times in the night cold! I had a room on the side which had a view over a back street (which wasn't great) but Gingerfeak was overlooking the pool, palm trees and the beach which was really nice. Also 5 mins walk from Bora Bora / Space but no noticeable noise. We're going again in September anyway.

I can also recommend the Garbi Hotel, nice rooms and we had a room on the outside overlooking the beach. The only downside was the Entertainment guys trying to get you to do some streching on the beach

Ya, but Bora Bora is a 5 min walk along the beach 8)

well, i've already been there twice last year (july and september) and IMO it was all good!
but surely, i'll give my update when i get back!
