Anyone see '£2M Place In The Sun' last night with Defoe's then fiance looking for places in Majorca.

How cringeworthy was the girl's mum's palpable excitement at the thought of spending that money?!
 
It was hilarious.........:lol:

The scariest thing was the WAG.

I expected the programme to at least score a few points against the media's promoted image of the WAGs.

Surely, she won't be as shallow and thick as the typical WAG cliche?

don't get me wrong, I didn't expect her to some across as some sort of genius, but at least to have something about her, a little charisma or intellect.

But no, my hopes were dashed when she came out with this corker after half an hour of blanklt staring at the camera and talking like a 10 year old girl:

(when talking about buying a 1.8m house)

"But Jermaine, It's like, not like shoes or handbags, It's like an investment"

:eek::?:lol::lol::lol:

and her trying to explain her choices to Amanda Lamb:

" when i go in a place, i know like, if i like it cos i sort of look around and get this feeling of "yeah i like this place" and when i go in some where that i don't like, i sort of think "no i don't think i like this" "

I watched this and had a good laugh at it. If anyone was a bad advertisement for being a WAG it was her. Talk about blonde and stupid!
It made me laugh how she and the host were actually trying to pass off the £2million budget she had to spend as "hers". Saying things like "I don't really want to spend £1.5mil on a place like this etc etc"... she has probably earned about 10grand of it and Defoe the rest.

At the end of the program the announcer said "Since recording this program, Jermain and Charlotte have split up.....aaahhhh" lol

I thought that but then felt sorry for her because he'd proposed, which understandably gave her some sense that as they intended to be together forever, at which point you might forgive her thinking it was 'their' money.

Hmmm not really, if Jon had millions in the bank (I wish!) and we got married, I wouldn't automatically assume that half of that is mine now. He's earned it not me!

I see that, but she's clearly dim and he did let her go off to look at places with a £2M budget.

Oh yeah, dont get me wrong, a lot of girls go looking for rich men just so they get a share of the wealth (like Kang ;) )

I can't imagine she'd be with Jermain Defoe if he wasn't a footballer... dumb b1tch!
