28th August 2004. Honeycomb Edinburgh, 10-5am.

And some bloke called Stu Hirst is doing the back room from 12-4.

Advance tickets are only £7 from http://www.breakitdown.co.uk

Also the last night of the Festival, so the town is always jumping !

Four hours Stu? 8O

yep, gonna be quite a challenge !
Longer sets are awesome though, you get to go through loads of different styles.

Krysko did a 5 hr set at Sankeys a month or So... ago. Reckoned it took loads of planning 'cos though it's easy(ish) to find 5hrs good music, making it flow from start to finish is a lot harder.

you do all the work in the days beforehand. As long as you've sorted out your records properly, then it's just a case of concentration and stamina.

Somethimes, if you've only got an hour or something, you can only bang out the big tracks in your set, there's no warm up involved.
I can see now why dj's prefer longer sets, it allows them to really build an atmosphere.
