Jade Goody

I think you're all being a bit harsh.

She was taking part with massive sponsorship for the NSPCC and she covered 18 miles before collapsing while the rest of our munting arses were laying in bed tending our hangovers.

She'll still raise a fair bit of money i expect and awareness for the cause, where's the big deal?

SPOT ON STUIE

What's so funny  Have you ever seen me run, for all you know it could be one of my hidden talents 8O

I've seen you crawling like a Gollum out of an afterparty at 9pm on a Sunday night but not running, no...

Me three on the Babs in marathon giggle club. Sorry Sar, but you do know it's on a Sunday morning don't you? Unless you were intending on it being part one of your cruises?

 I'd like to say I'll show you all and be there sprinting over the finish line next year but I think I will just quit. right. now. before I say something I can't get out of

I hate all this "she was doing it for a good cause" nonsense. So is almost everyone that runs the marathon, if not every competitor. To get accepted, you have to ensure you have taken on a training regime, and it's a kick in the teeth for everyone who's devoted months of their life for their cause, that she just turns up talking about 30 minutes on a running machine and eating curries all week.
I cringed with embarrassment when I saw her on the telly yesterday morning.
As it happens, she didn't finish, and had to waste tax payers money by being taken to hospital - especially when there might have been geniune athletes who have picked up injuries.
She should be put down, humanely or otherwise, or at least prevented from breeding, as we don't need people like her weakening the gene pool.

I think the only people who are in a position to criticise her are the people who ran yesterday and got further than she did, or trained for it and couldn't get in.

The rest of us are, quite frankly, no better than her. In fact, we're worse. At least she tried.

But Stuie surely, no one in their right mind would ever attempt the marathon with NO training? It's a death wish and she was stupid for doing so.

It's good that she raised the money, but she obviously didnt take it very seriously if she thought she could tackle the 26mile course with no preperation.

she made a farce of the World's greatest marathon by sticking two proverbial fingers up at every hard working runner - if that's "trying", she shouldn't have bothered.

Jade Goody typifies some of the "yoof" of today; lazy, idle, stupid.

 I can picture me now, leave Ministry at 8am straight to Marathon starting line 8O

In all seriousness, Tom has applied in the past to do it but he's never got in so if his application is ever successful then my contribution to the Marathon can be standing at the end ready to mop his brow

I agree with those of you who think its unfair that some get in, when others train and train and never get the chance to do it...

I think that when you sign up do to big races like these, you should be able to prove that you're at least somewhat competent.. maybe prove you've been in some other races..

Stupid cow. She turned up to run in tennis shoes. As Barbie said its really annoying that shes taken up a place when so many people want to run but can't get a place.

Completely 100% agree.

From what I read, she (only) raised £500 for charity.

There is a finite amount of people who can run it.

A) I always thought there was something like a grand minimum to run it? The person I knew who applid was tol she HAD to rasie a certain amount.

B) With her profile, she could have done better (raising money-wise)

C) To run a marathon with that little knowledge of the mamoth-ness of the task is endangeriung herself. Not to mention the burden on Staff, hospitals etc. I appreciate the fact that she "tried" though, clearly she didn't, iyswim.

Stick to falling out of nightclubs and give Heat readers soemthing to gossip over, don't run a marathon, please.

Its true....some people did have a "minimum" amount to raise....therefore I think she should dip her hand in her pocket and DONATE some of her own millions to charity!:D Then we all might forgive her?!

Isn't this just typical of Jade - you gotta love how stupid she is!

She's got more publicity than the winners of the mens and womens races - is she more intelligent than we give her credit for?

  it was like 3 years ago since she was on big brother - she's done bloody well. I reckon she should do some kind of on air punishment for being so rubbish with people phoning in cash for her chosen charity for her to do horrible things
