Bigmouth
Killed my fun stringing him along for ages for no apparent reason

And I wasn't making random claims... I was just drunkenly quoting you some survey printed in the Times of the top uni's worldwide, which had 1. Harvard, 2. Oxford, 3. Cambridge (or were Oxford & Cambridge reversed? I forget now...). Matters about as little as the paper it was printed on!

So, Nick... did you attend any crew races as a student? Or fencing competitions? or squash matches?

I attended the Christ Church regatta and the summer 8s and the oxford cambs boat race, but didn't actually DO any sport  I just got pissed on pimms by the river

I did go into the squash courts below my 1st year room once by mistake.

The closest I got to playing sports was volleyball matches between dormitories

I went to a couple of American football games (not our school's strength ) but that's about it. Might have gone to a boat race (don't remember) as I had a friend who was the little guy at the front who didn't row just yelled

Cambridge is a lovely town, especially Harvard Sq and the less traveled Inman Sq area. I also lived in nearby Somerville for a bit, which is quite quaint.

Was it the burger joint on the corner right in the middle of Harvard Sq? (across from the big newsstand, if that's still around). I had my first cheeseburger at that place... it was the exact moment I fell in love with cheese, which I'd avoided throughout my childhood. Ah, the memories....
