How funny!! I have exactly the same thing and its all down my back too. Started just after New Years.I have had it before but not for about 2 years.
Its really bad and keeping me awake at night.

Various thoughts on explanations as to why I might have it:
1. Extremely cold weather at the moment (last time I had it was winter too)
2. Change in shampoo or shower gel (although I have gone back to old one which was fine and still having problem)
3. Change in diet (I have had an extremly healthy January with some drastic changes in diet).

Im going to the doctor on Tuesday to see if he can throw any light on the subject, but I seem to remember it just went away the last time.

Think I need another sun holiday!!!

I think you boys need to moisturise a bit more, I used to get it really bad on my back and arms. I think it is just dry skin due to the cold weather. Just buy a good moisturiser and then get someone to rub it all over you and you'll be fine ;)

Oooh - do keep me updated on what the DR says...makr sure you ask for 'Diprobase' although he'll probably prescribe it anyway...it's a really great hardcore moisturising cream available behind the counter. Fantastic stuff!

I feel like I'm part of an exclusive Spotlight lizard sub-sect now!

Have either of you ever suffered from eczema before? I haven't got it bad for ages but i used to up to a couple of years ago and i used Betnovate and E45 (both available with no prescription)

Are you itching or just flaking?

Please explain crisco joke!!

I too am suffering from lizard skin

Have you got a body brush to brush away all your dead skin cells??, you should do this once a week. I invested in some sanctuary salt oil and body scrub which is about £8 from boots and its so lush.

You rub it on in circular motions in the bath and you are left with smooth skin which will look better too. Remember though - only once a week and then apply your usual body cream after every shower you have.

I love these girly threads, can we have some more please :)

Fresh from the teabagging debacle, Mambs reveals that she too may have the same the post-fisting rash as the (not French) gays!

Brilliant!
