No trains from Liverpool Street and problems at Victoria Embankment - a tree has come down.

Does anyone know how long the weathermen predict these winds will last?
 
Its like fuggin armagedon in manchester, no trains no planes, someone dead in stockport. What will happen if we ever actually have a hurricane?!

Dunno - but its been very wild all day here in Newcastle - however, in the last 10 mins its just gone still and deathly quiet. No wind. nothing. its very spooky!!

I think we are in the eye of the storm;)
 
Apparently there are very few overground trains running from London Bridge and the main station concourse is closed as well.
 
all train line seem to be down.
problems at king cross as well.
loads of problems on the tube.

looks like a nightmare journey home for everyone
