Took me about 10 mins to walk 100 yards to boots just now.
Heard its worse in coastal areas!
I'm 'working' from home and I can hear my back door rattling. (Leave it!
)I'm off work sick today with a cold 
and have not been out, but when Dublin Port closes for the first time ever you know it's bad!!!

Heavy winds are causing disruption at seaports and airports today, with several flights and ferry sailings affected by the stormy conditions.
Dublin Port has been closed for the first time in its history due to high winds and no vessels are being allowed to leave or arrive without liaising with the harbour master.
A spokesperson says the situation will be reassessed on an hourly basis.
Irish Ferries has also cancelled sailings across the Irish Sea, while Aer Arann and other airlines have been forced to ground a number of flights.
Passengers are being urged to ring ahead to find out if their services have been affected.

Just had a call from tenants in my Liverpool flat saying the window has blown through!
It's a warehouse too that was built in the 1800's! The wind must be bad thats it's survived 200 years.
