It's such a glorious day ...

It's gorgeous up here as well, why does blue sky and nice weather make me wanna get sozzled? - and it's only 8.45am.

I wish it were Friday.... 8)

I did, last night :oops:

I felt so ashamed when i woke up this morning cos i was supposed to be abstaining until the big night on Saturday.

That's one good thing about the sun in the UK - it never really gets that hot so you can stay outside and enjoy it and not over heat :D

lovely and sunny here, blue sky etc, but I'm freezing, been stuck on the train with fierce air con this morning, and air con in work, so I'll be shivering alllll day :x

We're up to about 18 hours of daylight 8O
Gets dark at 10 and already starts getting light at 4am!

Great weather here today too... 22 degrees - optimum temperature.

Only problem is the "pukh". Stalin decided to beautify post-war Moscow by planting tons of poplar trees (apparently, an American variety of the tree that can withstand harsh winters). Only problem is, no one checked the gender of the trees. Yes. Poplar trees have genders and female ones flower and then spend a couple of weeks releasing this white cotton-like stuff into the air (called "pukh" in Russian)

It's floating everywhere right now... looks like it's snowing. Gets in your eyes and on your clothes. Totally annoying (and highly flammable too!) :evil:

It's still more shocking when at 5pm it's light... and there's no courtine in the window 8O 8O 8O (that happened to me when I was in the UK)
 
I'm gonna join you guys, its sunny and got a new mix and first track is the brilliant octave one song ... This is what life is about!

:lol: i made Joey get up from his computer Monday night to come into the bedroom and bought him right up to the window so i could say ' Look , its still light and its 10pm'

I'm lucky in having a West facing bedroom so i get all the late evening sun right until sunset.........and a East/south facing lounge so that gets all the sun in the daytime 8) :D

Seen some amazing sunrises and sunsets from the comfort of my own home in the last couple of years :D
