Yeah - the training looks fantastic, loads of support there - unlike my last place

I recently got a job in the City for when after i graduate this summer, but im a bit apprehensive about moving to london.

any one got any words of advice that will ease the concerns? like what are the best clubs? how difficult is it to get into the clubs down there, is it quite fussy? just out of interest.

suppose the biggest worry is the people, heard its not too friendly.

where abouts in the city?

its with jp morgan, its just off fleet street. Victoria Embankment i think it is.

i meant to ask last time, what are the bits of london to avoid when looking for somewhere to stay? my mate said last week that tottenham and places round there were a bit dodgy. but ill have to go somewhere where the rent isnt too high.

any suggestions?

London's fab, I moved down here 6 years ago and wouldn't live anywhere else, you're completely spoiled for choice in every sense - clubs, restaurants, shops, exhibitions etc etc, you couldn't be bored if you wanted to be.

And don't believe all the myths about southerners being unfriendly, I've met some of the nicest people in my life down here, just be friendly and yourself to people and you'll make friends in no time. Yeah there's some tits around but there's tits everywhere.

Re clubs I've found them a lot more laid back than clubs elsewhere round the country, people tend to dress down a lot more, never known people have problems getting in etc apart from the obvious like too funked etc.

Just enjoy it and you'll have the time of your life :D

There's good and bad areas like anywhere. If I was you I'd get somewhere which is easily accessibly on tube for work, ie. no more than one change cos you'll find your days are a lot longer in london town with commuting etc so try and make your journey as easy as you can.

Way up what you want out from where you live and then that will narrow down your search and then buy Loot to give you an idea of rent in various places.
