Hi there
ok so im off to ibiza for the first time in just over a weeks time, have been doing my research and am getting rather excited now! Since we are only there for a few days ive come up with an itinery of things im hoping to do but would like some input from those of you more experienced. To set the scene we are 2 girls, never been to ibiza before, 22 and 23, one quite a trance head the other more cheesy dance, staying in PDB. There are a couple of days i cant decide what to do so any info on the decisions would be super, and also any suggestions as to whether to buy tickets now or wait til we get there also appreciated- not a fan of q uing much but then i suppose no one is!

ok here goes

sun 26th/ mon 27th arrive in ibiza at 2am monday morning, have a look round maybe an odd drink but otherwise off to bed (did want to go to space but on realising it would be after 3 by the time we got there decided it wasnt worth it-good call or not?)

Mon 27th-beach in the am, back for lunch, DC10 2-7ish, home for tea, roger snchez and galaxy (cant remeber where this is possibly eden?)

tuesday- day? (any suggestions welcome)
Torn between Eden for dave pearce and amnesia for avb- am leaning towards dave pearce purely for the trance goddess in me!

Wed- day again no plans so any suggestions
eve- biggest decision here- Es paradise for the water party, amnesia for the foam party or meganite at privalidge

Thurs- have t check out hotel but dont fly home until 2am fri morning so have all day to kill,
was thinking this may be a pool/ beach day as depending on the hotel we may not have anywhere to leave our luggage,

I was wanting to go to bora bora one day but wasntsure which day was best so any ides on that.

also anything i havent gotten up there that you think is worth a mention im open to suggestions, and any decisions on places if you could put the best time to go there that would help immensly as im petrified of going somewhere and being too early or too late that its heaving!

cheers for all the help im sure ill get :D

if your going to roger sanchez on monday night, get a meal in the pacha restaurant, that way you dont buy a ticket and you get a good feed

do not go to dave pearce, if you must do trance, do it in amnesia

wednesday, id probably go to priviledge for meganite. it is one of two nights you are likely to see the place anything remotely near as busy as it should be.

thursday, what about a boat trip somewhere then a meal in san an to catch a sunset?

nothing personal against dave pearce

its like this

if you want to experience what "sh!t clubbing in the UK" is like, go to Eden

maybe pop over to formentera for the day on tues or wednesday , take your own food tho the restaurant on the beach is a total rip off but the beach is super nice

Hey

Wed- day again no plans so any suggestions
eve- biggest decision here- Es paradise for the water party, amnesia for the foam party or meganite at privalidge

Wednesday's a no brainer really, its got to be privelege out of those 3...

To be honest, you need to avoid both the clubs in san antonio (thats eden and es paradis) - they're simply sh1t and dont offer any sort of the atmosphere Ibiza has...
Like others have said, Eden is basically a ritzy with lagered up lads, its a dump.

cheers for all the input- i hadnt thought of a boat trip deffo want to do that now. also was planning on going to san an for a sunset at least once if not more just hadnt put that in there as it wasnt going to be a huge thing- was going to go down watch it set have a cheeky drink then pop back over.
Fat phil- thanks for the info n the pacha restaurant didnt realise you didnt pay if you were already in- how much is a meal likely to set us back, with maybe 1 or 2 drinks tops
BNYC- im not sure i could take bora bora and dc10 and then pacha in all one day! lol is bora good most days or if not which is the best to go- could go one day for pre game drinks just possibly not the monday! lol
is it bora bora or dc10 with the beach and the aeroplanes? lol random q there!
all points on san an have been noted- is one of the main reasons we decided to pay more to go to the other side, not that it is a bad thing but have heard many comments about san an being v british! :) would rather take my chances with the italians
and meganite on wed it is!
many thanks for the help and i hope it lives up to the expectations!
:D
xx
I really would like to do trance too - its what i love but have heard about eden, so looks like it ill be amnesia on a tuesday.

have to agree with the above posts. avoid eden and es paradise like the plague. DO NOT GO. you will only be disappointed. i can understand ur situation though. if you are not an experienced ibiza club go-er then you can fall into the trap of thinking that eden and es paradise and san an in particular are THE PLACES to go in ibiza. i was exactly the same the 1st time i went when i was 17. thinking there wasnt anything else. but then when i went back the following year it opened up a whole new side to ibiza for me. started to see things differently, better places to go, better nights to have. and its been the same every year since. im going to ibiza 5 weeks today on 22nd sep, it will be my 8th time in 9 years and im still learning new things and visiting new places all the time. thats the beauty of ibiza, always something fresh and new to see, new parties, different experiences ect..............

if you are planning on going to DC10, Amneisa, Roger Sanchez at Pacha, Bora Bora and catching a few sunsets then you are doing THE RIGHT thing. no matter how much you get pested in san antonio by ticket sellers and P.R people, just say NO to eden and es paradise, ibiza has much much more to offer than that. and you will have a better time. i havnt set foot inside eden or es paradise since 2001, and last time i went was cos i had free tickets (which says it all). only stayed an hour, got bored, went to Space.

as for the pacha restaurant, this is a must do. if you are going to see sanchez on the monday nite, ring this number and book yourself a table 0034971310959, ring sometime after 8pm UK time and ul speak to a man who speaks very good english and book your table for the Monday that you are there. i booked a table for Friday 28th September the other nite, Pure Pacha closing, could only get a 10pm slot which shows how busy they get so the earlier you ring the better. and then after u have eaten u walk stright through into pacha

most of all enjoy urself. :D

Dave Pearce is THE WORST DJ I have ever had the misfortune to see/hear. And that is including all the ****ty DJ's that play local clubs on Wednesday 'Cheese' nights. Do not go and see him.

Mr jenx thanks for that number ill give it a call, what is a good time to book a table for if im planning on going through into pacha? obv dont want to be there too early but would like to be there before it gets rammed!
at 50 euros each id rather pay for the food and be fed well than spend something like 35 euros on a ticket and still prob end up spending more on a basic meal so sounds like a plan!
May have to re think the finances though going to be an expensive couple of days me thinks.
Will avoid eden and es paradise thank you v much for the info, as a neewbie i would have probably been lured into the trap of thinking they were the places to go so good to get info from people who have been before.
dave pearce i find very hit an miss and sometimes he is ok sometimes he is rubbish- was only considering him for the trance aspect but with avb at least you know what your getting so amnesia it is!
just saw pics of eden club- how wierd is it inside! not too sure id want to go there anyway now! lol

and a final couple of questions- can anyone tell me do you pay to get in DC10 during the day ? and bora bora like wise?

And where in pbb will i be able to find tickets for the various nights? is it well advertised? and if i buy a ticket before hand does this mean we can skip the q?
sorry so many questions im just determined to do it right and get the most out of the time we are there! :D
Thanks for all the help so far its been great!

:D

you have to pay to get in to dc10, but bora bora is free.

there are plenty of places to buy tickets, one kind of across the road from bora bora, the name of which escapes me, but it will be pretty obvious when your out there.

a ticket bought over there wont let you skip any queues, but at the nights your going to you wont find many (if any) queues, not from my experience anyway and your going at the time of year i always go.

Tantra is the bar across the road from Jet/Bora Bora (and a little up towards Space) with the ticket counter.

However, please note: When I went to DC10 in June, pre-purchased tickets did not get you a free drink. Tickets bought at the door included a free drink. And there was no difference in the two queues. So, my advice is to get your DC10 tix at the door.

Also in June - Pacha tickets were 35 euros at Tantra, but no free drink this year. They were 50 euros at the door with one drink. So, if you're going to drink vodka red bull (15 euros) then no difference there either. Just something to keep in mind though still probably better to buy those in advance (or eat at the restaurant and get in for free)

Privilege tix you can buy through Ibiza Spotlight and get guestlist entry. You can get Amnesia tix here too, though the Amnesia guestlist queue is sometimes far longer than the regular ticket line (at least, it is for Cocoon... don't know about Armada)
