Yup, a bit small. Kids with less natural ability who grow big earlier will grind him into the mud unless he grows early himself.

Needs to learn to get rid of ball before he gets hit, but I guess those Man U chappies might know thing or two about training him about decision making during a game...

True... but the thing I liked most about him was that, stepovers and jigging runs aside, he seemed to pop right back up when tackled and (sometimes) take the ball and keep going.

Definitely a ball hog... but a couple of very astute passes in that video.

Good point about the timing of growth spurts...

Some of the players I played with as a kid who made it as pros were f-ing awful but huge. Chris Bart-Williams was prolly the worst. Couldn't pass, couldn't shoot, no positional sense and no vision. He was the size of a large adult at 11 years of age though, so he went on to play for Sheffield Wednesday and Notts Forest.
