Is the music in clubs too loud or am I too old?

Thankyou for bringing this up Mark! I normally endure people's scorn and "funny" comments when I put my tissue earplugs in my ears at clubs ;) But my ears used to always hurt after clubbing, and I want to protect them as much as I can. The Box is Ministry is too loud, sometimes you're like, 80% deaf after a night in there!

I wanna invest in some proper earplugs, but first of all I need to pay off some debts and save some money :?

Loud but perfectly balanced. :D 8)

I've been in worse places - cheap sound systems are the ones that lead to 8O (that's a man discovering he's deaf).

Thanks very much for this! :D

Are you a fellow tinnitus sufferer too then?

I just noticed recently that I can't hear ar well out of my righ ear as my left, and when they fitted me for the foam plugs, it cuts out ALL external sound and I realised I have a very very slight ringing in that right ear.. so I got the plugs as a preventative measure, looks like I caught it just in time (or maybe just a little bit too late)..

Becki - you can buy cheap foam earplugs from Boots for about £4 and they are better than tissue paper :)
