i have only EVER seen one person get asked for 'id' - that was amnesia.

but you have to look very young to get asked to produce any id.

best not get me started on amnesia's money policy, esp not on a saturday night.

I am assuming that you are probably from the US. The answer is no, you are never carded, unless ofcourse, you have purchased an online ticket (like for Space). But that is a totally different reason for carding.
