My friend's a hairdresser, also I know I few other people.

Just ask away :)

Was just wondering how easy it is to get into at an older age (well not 16!!) looking into ways of training on the job and have heard about 'fast-track' courses. Just wondered if anyone had any experience of this?

Thank-you! Not going to be on the net again till Tuesday, but if you have any info that would be great!

Toni & Guy do a 12 week course, although it costs £12k

The normal course is 3 years, on very low pay
You can also do courses with Saks, look on their website.
I would be best to get trained with one of the top hairdressers, just give them a call and they will give you all the info you need, their are no age restrictions. You will just have to be prepared for low pay until you are trained.

I hope that helps :)

You can also do evening classes, that might work out better.
