Now that Knock Off Nigel thing was canny. Just so we can suport bumped up prices to pay for marketing, middle men, advertising and Retail Price Maintenance etc. Ebay rules! Im buying everyone a sack of lentils.
 
I just booked my tickets home to the States for the holidays last week. Traveling on Dec 23. Not really thinking about Christmas beyond that though.

Our family tradition is pretty convenient - everyone sends out lists of stuff they want and then we collude behind their backs about who buys what and what things we just won't bother to buy :lol: I order everything on Amazon a week before I go home and then all I've got to do when I arrive is wrap things 8)

What I do need to start thinking about is New Year, specifically what side trip the missus and I are going to do this year - last year it was Argentina, year before that Mexico, was thinking Brazil this time but even from Florida the airfare is insane.
 
Not a fan of Christmas, the decorations, the SAME ****ty songs, everythings too busy, the forced socialising , having to be nice to everyone, screaming kids everywhere etc etc etc. Can't be doing with it.

I also do all my shopping on X-mas eve in Tesco. In and out in half an hour. Job done.

Bah humbug.

Don't get me wrong, I love Christmas, but its not christmas yet. i hate they way it starts earlier every year... give it a few years and we'll start to see christmas trees in August!

As for Xmas, well (people will think im mad maybe i am) BUT i might not be doing my annual trip to Dubai to DJ (i get a freebie every Xmas/NYE to dj over there free apartment/beer/food,etc) the main reason for this is

i nearly creamed my pants when i seen the line up in the Main Arena, best old skool rave for years, probably since back in the day, Fantazia have really come up trumps this time and id never forgive myself if i missed this, so ive got some serious thinking to do but chances are ill be braving the cold here for Xmas for the first time in over 5 years and going to this on NYE.

This will be a mix up of the biggest named promoters in the UK in one of the most atmospheric and historic venues the converted Church The Que Club, with you and 3000 fellow ravers.

call it what u want mate it's better than these muppets on Ketamine monged out of their nuts listening to minimal or whatever crap music might be "trendy" at the moment, this is the REAL DEAL and could well be my clubbing swansong, finish it on a major high, this is the best line up in recent years and will be a nite to rememeber.:)

Mambobirdette it's on from 7pm to 6am and there are 9 arenas so the dj's will all play well over an hour each maybe longer.
