INSANE @ Pacha 2015

Report from last night. Pacha was that perfect busy .... when there is enough people for a good party, tons of space to dance and being October less VIP and everyone just there to dance.

Caught the last hour of Kevin S set. Thought it was good. Very strong on melodies and very trippy in parts. Never heard him play that early so was very different. I liked.

Then Mr Digweed came on. Of course as many know I'm a big fan, but actually not seen him much the last year. I thought it was the best set I've heard him play in years. As Stivi said last night, he's so much less proggy these days. The mixing was some of the smoothest I've heard in a long time (from anyone). He totally knows that Pacha crowd now...

All in all makes me convinced that they need to strip MK out and direct insane back towards the likes of Digweed/Dennis Ferrer/Sneak/Derrick Carter/ etc.

Never caught Huxley as the next few days are going to be nuts....
 
Nice review, I don't know why they don't save Digweed till the end tho. It's interesting he's playing for Insane... Was he more housey?

MK had good track selection in his set and a couple of 'Ibiza' type moments when i saw him earlier in the season but the set didn't have a journey. Still a nice guy to hang back the fans and chill with everyone.
