hey everyone! don't know if a lot of you even remember me or not, as i was never a "top" poster here, but i just returned from my year abroad in the marshall islands and wanted to say hi! how has civilization been in the year i've been gone? :D

well, i'm not there anymore. in fact, i am currently in chicago--and freezing my a$$ off! it is about 12 degrees outside (i think that's around 6 below in celsius) right now 8O

-11 C, to be exact. Sounds a little cold for Chicago unless you're talking wind chill.

It's 3 degrees here right now (37 F). I just had one of our building's guards joke with me that spring has arrived :?

*groan* don't remind me. while i was there, i kept saying i missed cold weather, so now i guess i'm getting a large, ironic helping of what i deserve...stupid poetic justice... :x

might be time for another quick trip to miami soon :twisted:
