The modesty on this boards is becoming huge, you are better DJ then those who play at most bars. Nice mix... tracklisting perhaps?
 
thanx guys, but I have a VERY high standard of mixing, in that, the mix I posted didn't meat my standard, thus, I am shit :( though i appreciate your kind words. I know the first song is by stave lawlor, ummm, i'll try find a track list for u asap..

Oh song 2 and 3 r maroon 5 - she will be loved and Janet jackson, best things in life r free (theyre obvious though) :lol:
 
your mix was good i liked it....although i don't agree with the mix being calld "pubic hair mix"....struck me as kinda strange lol but i thought it was good...what program did you use to mix?

I used total recorder as the input recorder, and a demo version of easy mp3 encoder or something to make it mp3. Thats all.

I dont have the means to edit and shit using software for mixes. Once I used it to put an intro before a mix cd I sent away but thats all. I think real ... goodness, has to be able to be pulled off live for it to be true..

And yeah, I love titling my shit silly shit. I don't know.. As much as I take Djing seriously, and its my life and all, I have to have fun with it. I cant take the image aspect of it seriously cos, to me its a joke. I'd feel like i wasn't being true to myself if i named it something, ubber cool likeeeeeeeeeee.. The Naked Age Ultra Groove House Mix.. or something.. really, yuk-ish.. I like to have a joke with names and shit.

i do ALOT of private functions at a bar in lygon.. Though, if all goes to plan this friday we should be opening to the public for a night of underground techno/house/trance/acid. Actually, all the stuff that kiss90fm inspired me into playing. I got a, ugly call today about the night so it might not go ahead this friday, but if it does, come check it out. I'll post in this thread tomorow when I find out for sure if its happening.

but yeah, I did a few raves and rave clubs in 2003/2004, this year though, has been solely private functions. And now I'm dieing to hit the public circuit again.. Clubs and shit.. We also organise beach parties every summer, I play at those aswell.
