Snap. We are having problems with the electricity and plumbing to our washing machine and dishwasher.

Fingers crossed we're still both here on Tuesday 8O :lol:

My situations not quite so bad, putting up a track light in the kitchen, but got to cut a hole in the ceiling which means wet filler to patch up the hole. Doesn't help that the ceiling's 12ft high and i'm a total wuss where heights are involved.

Fingers x'd for us both Claire ;)

Ooh that's a nice combination - hope your not like Mr PL who is colour blind too but still insists on doing electrics!!! :roll:

In fifteen years I have resisted the temptation when he says things to me like "Babe is that wire red or blue.....?" :lol:

I took the extra precaution of rining my electrician yesterday to check i was doing it ok and his reply was "Andy, don't do it, you're gonna kill yer sen!"

I asked him to come do it, but told me i'd have to wait 3/4 weeks

Uncanny! My ex's dad was a colour-blind electrician. Exactly the same thing used to worry me when he'd do something on our house!
