Guys,

Firstly, thanks to all who PM'd me with answers to my last post. You actuallly helped me change my mind for the better I think.

But as an "Ibiza Virgin" I have a couple more questions and I will try not to start fights with them... :?

1. I'm more into the "Ibiza Chilled" style of music i.e, I like deepest blue, Lady, 21st Century.... Was wondering whether there was a name to that style of music that I could look out for. And where to go to get that kind of thing. Though I'm looking forward to hearing what Ibiza has to offer

2. When in a club, is it possible to get free tap water? Or do you have to pay a fortune even to rehydrate? This concerns me a bit as all that dancing has got to make you thirsty.

Thanks in advance,

The Red Baron

P.S. I've have already done searches for this information.

1. Try stuff like the Cafe del Mar CDs as a good start for some chill-out. All the sunset bars play that kind of music early evening as the sun goes down.

2. Unfortunately you have to pay for water in all clubs, the tap water isn't safe to drink (except for @ Privilege). A small bottle of water will cost you about 6 euros in Space and 8 euros in Pacha 8O

Hi Red Baron

The water thing is a real issue in ibiza. It costs a fortune in clubs for a tiny bottle of water, and you can't drink the tap water in ibiza cause its full of salt and it will make you sick. :?

Resourceful types on here have suggested in the past asking for glasses full of ice to drink your bottle water with when you go to the bar, and then letting the ice melt to obtain additional water. ;)

I did wonder if this was the case. In the UK it is illegal for clubs not to give free tap water to punters. However I had no idea if the same applied in Ibiza. I take it that taking your own water into the venue is a no-no?

You can't take water into clubs, at Space you get a good search so you would have no hope of getting it in. Other clubs are not so strict but it would still be hard. Space you can leave once during the day, other clubs you can leave as many times as you want if you want to go out and get cheaper water.

Sometimes at a We Love Sundays 12 hour sesh @ Space, me and my b/friend have done about £60 in a day just on water 8O
