Ice Cannon in Amnesia

Fooking ace isn't it :P

Just watched Csi the other night though and someone was murdered when they inhaled too much dry ice that the killer pumped into their room 8O

I used to stand under that ice cannon all night as well!


Bbviously there shouldn't be a problem with the one in amnesia but I just though id share some of my paranoia with you :lol:

They've got oneon the amnesia terrace - doesn't quite work as well though.

The ice cannon is ace in Amnesia, I've never been anywhere else that has had anything quite like it.
I remember last year that this guy came pushing past me to stand under it raised his hands in the air but forgot to brace himself...when the ice came he went flying backawards and landed in the arms of another guy about 2m away which I think was of mutual surprise to them both :lol:

The ice cannons under the dj stage to the right of the main cannon are pretty special too, not quite as fierce but they sort of twist the air out to give you a feeeling of going down the first drop and corner on a rollercoaster 8O
 
The ice cannon in Amnesia is great. It works well because the room is large and the ceiling high. 8)

Club Slava in Moscow has one too, but it's mounted lower than it should be and while it really cools you off well, it's hell trying to breath for the first minute after they shoot it off :x One time I was standing too close and felt like I had dry ice burns on my ears 8O (a friend had his glasses blown off his face once too!)
 
That ice cannon scared the hell out of me, didnt realise i was standing right under it and suddenly.....well you get the rest!!
It is wicked though.
 
The one at Club Zouk in Singapore is pretty much the same at the one in Amnesia, .... don't really like them myself..
 
the ice cannon in ammensia is a great touch. when its packed and you can barely move, that monster of a machine just cools down the whole dancefloor. every one goes mental when it hits the dancefloor
 
I love the ice cannon and when it is timed perfectly during a breakdown of a song, it is unreal! Plus it saved my life after it was 85C at Cream one night!!!

yeah but they dont like letting them off very often, at the opening I noticed it go off as I was walking down from the balcony, had to wait about 2 hours beofre they let it off again.
 
i think i read somewhere that it costs an absolute fortune to have even 1 blast

hence why when its going off a lot on one night there are several club bigwigs showing signs of panic
 
the ice cannon is one of the best features a club has to offer!

regarding Amnesia - it goes off mostly at Cream's night, about every few minutes! 8O

Wierd... we went in there to cool down during the WLS opening :lol:

Warmer in the evening, though still not hot (except in the Red Room)
