ibz lounge - anyone been there yet?

I understand the ibz lounge opened this weekend in Ibiza Town, where Mao Rooms used to be. Has anyone been there yet?

Two (or three?) years ago Mao Rooms was our favorite home base for pre-party club nights. Very stylish but laid back too. Would love to see its rebirth as something similar. Hopefully with the El Divino ownership it will be top class.

I'm interested in hearing people's views of the new place. :?: Of course will form my own opinion in less than two weeks(!!).

I went on the opening night on Thursday at around 3ish.

It's a proper little club now. The dj booth is on the left as you arrive. You step straight onto the dance floor from the street.

Could be good.
 
Ah, so it's more of a club than a bar now? No cozy pillows to sit on? and the little rooms in the back?
 
Yes Morbyd, it's me. And to respond to your mocking, the last time I checked piva was a Russian word, so I can spell it in English how ever I damn well please. Jerk.

Back on the point of the thread..., I'm sorry to hear that ibz lounge is a proper club. I was hoping for the couchy, shoes off, chilled atmosphere of Mao Rooms.

Oh well, must be getting old. :? From other posts it sounds like there are some other new loungy places for us to take advantage of.
 
It does sound like there's quite a few new places around. I'll do another run through the Winter Gossip thread before we head over.
 
How is this place working? in the end is a bar to stand up and have a drink or is more like before when it was Mao Rooms?:D

i believe that paris hilton will be doing a pa there very soon to promote her new dance record.

Scott (Piva4me) did go there while we were in Ibiza and I think he told me it is more of a lounge... just like it was when it was Mao Rooms.

Stephen, paris Hilton was in tito's ( Palma de mallorca) this saturday nigth, she must be doing a tour through the Balearic Islands:lol:
