Ibiza - worth it in October??

Flying in on friday October 8th for a 3 week European trek with some buddies. The original plan was to kick it off with a BANG by flying into Ibiza and partying that first weekend, and then making our way through the rest of Spain, etc. Im dissapointed to learn that the scene seems to slow down during this time; im not even seeing many things confirmed on the club calendar for October. Is it just that its too early for confirmations to be posted? Is it dead during that time of year or do you suggest it is still worth it to visit the island? Unfortunately we can change the days and it would be a bummer if we werent able to take in the experience. thank for any help....

no man, i wouldnt bother going in october, everythings just closed and no1 will be there after october 1st apart from locals

like everyone else has said, it's dead in october. try pushing it forward two weeks to mid to end of september.
