Ibiza/weather/xmas

I’m thinking of going away for x-mas and would love to do another week in Ibiza. Whats the weather like at that time of the year?

I went for New Year once and the days were lovely and sunny (we were dancing on the old Space terrace on New Years Day of the Millennium in glorious sunshine 8) ), the nights were chilly tho but obviously not as cold as UK.

If you want to get a suntan then it's not for you but if you're looking for nice walks down almost deserted beaches and cosy dinners in local restaurants then it's perfect.

What airlines fly winter time? I want to go for NYE this year. Will I have to fly to Barcelona?

We're going for NYE this year, I booked flights in April  just cos I was bored at work and hypothetically searching for flights for NYE and they were so cheap it would have been rude not to  ;)

I'll PM you the details ;)

I think that sounds lovely, beats a cold x-mas over here.

Would the clubs be empty tho? or do they still be full to the rafters

The clubs were nicely busy - Space on New Years Day ranks as one of the best days of my life EVER  ;)

Cos ours was specific for Millennium, Manumission put a special night on @ Privilege on NYE and then Space on NYD.

Typically Pacha will be open NYE (and sometimes Amnesia) and then either Space or DC10 on NYD.

Who did you fly with? Would love to do it, not getting out in Summer :(

This time we're flying with Iberia, from Heathrow to Barcelona and then Barcelona to Ibiza.

Brilliant flight times too:

Leave 29 Dec - 6am, 2 hour changeover in Barcelona and in Ibiza for midday
Return 2 Jan - 6pm, 2 hour changeover in Barcelona again and back in London for 10pm.

Our flights were only £130 which is ridiculously cheap, almost as cheap as Summer, I did book in April tho

£228 is still a good price tho, by Nov/Dec you'll be paying upward of £400.

Cheers! Quick consultation required then and possible booking - would be fantastic!

Sirens - I got Iberia up too no probs :)
