My husband and I are Americans, living in SIcily and we will be on the Island from the 13 - 20 of July. We are SO tired of hearing Italian house and are looking forward to a much needed break from the cheesy Sicilian Club scene :? So far we are lookin at Judgment Sundays, Cream, and Slinky for sure but we don't know what else to hit up! If u guyz have any good info or advice, let us know. we're stayin in San An at the Marco Polo (they have AC) and we will probably rent a car so anything goes! ciao!
 
u seem to like the same as me, try Armarda on a tuesday with AVB hes awsome.
 
wow! I can't believe that no one will reply on here! That sux. I hope it's not because Im not british as that would prove to be severely shallow. Either way - if you can happen to get over the fact that are from the country that everyone hates thanx to our idiot president and you wanna party ur a s s e s off, reply! ;)
 
try space, cocoon, for techno, tech house nights, or if u want some trance try dave pearce at slinky. as for sunsets stick wiv san an. DEFINATELY visit bora bora as ive been told its the best beach bar going. and no i dont hate america :D
 
anyway dont worry u will b spoilt for choice when you get there! u will hav people giving u flyers left right and centre ;)

First, the reason that no one replied certainly has nothing to do with the fact that you're american!! Second, not everyone hates america, and the more you mention that everyone does, the more they will remember to!!! :twisted: :twisted:

BUT, if you check the million plus other posts on what nights to go to you'll see what people think is going to be hot and not. Personally, I would go to We Love @ Space, Subliminal & Reniassance at Pacha, DC10, and Hed Khandi or Defected at El Divino.

Kel - You have gotta go to We Love Sundays at Space.. to party..and Subliminal at Pacha.....for quality House music....

I think the reason that some people don't reply is that they get tired of answering the same questions over and over...the search facility on this site is pretty good and you can generally get most of the information you need from there....

But don't worry, in Ibiza all nationalities are welcome and it doesn't matter where you come from...everyone one just want to have a good time...

You will love it and it will change your life 8) 8) :P :P :) :) :) :D :D ...
 
You'll have too many options. I recommend that you do:
DC 10 till night then head to coccon(Amnesia) on mondays, Space on Sundays, hed kandi (El Divino) on Saturdays and Subliminal (Pacha) on wednesdays. I wouldn't go to judgment and slinky.
 
See the thing is that I want to get away from house music for the one week that I actually have the choice to do so! We're more into Trance, Techno, Hard House, and breaks and you cant get any of that here. Thats why I was wonderin where to go cuz I noticed alot of house.

Pacha is predominantly house so your best bets are Amnesia for Cream or the Armin nights, Eden and Es Paradis in San An have a number of trance and hard house nights as well.

As for breaks there isn't a big breaks scene on the island but you will find it in some of the back rooms of the big clubs.
 
Thanx! That's what I've been lookin at but I figured there could be no harm in askin people who've already been before in case there were some little known secrets that are not posted online (fat chance of that, I bet) I didn't know that there were SO MANY people still into house. I've been listenin to it since 1990 and I kind of grew away from it and into the stuff that's a little harder when I was in Tokyo for 3 years. Now Im in Sicily and we get alot of house here but it just doesn't get me up the way I want it too. ya feel me?!

Altho Ibiza is predominantly house you will find all music genres there which imo makes a refreshing change, I love my house but you don't want to listen to the same old tunes day in and day out.

If it's your first time I would recommend going to as many different clubs as you can, they might not all be your cup of tea but at least you'll see first hand what the island has to offer.
