Ibiza Virgins

Hi All,

Going to Ibiza with a group of freinds (mid twentys) however I am only one who has been before!

We are only there for 3 nights and arrive on Sat 2nd June:

So far I worked out that

Sun night - Tiesto is playing
Mon night - possible Avicii at Ushuaia

Any other suggestions? Especially for the sat night (or any alternatives from the super clubs like boat parties etc)

In my opinion, Saturday is the night with least going on in the Ibiza night life scene.
I guess it all depends on where you are staying on the island.

But, seeing as the majority of your group are newcomers, maybe take them to Zoo Project @ The Garlands. This is obviously quite a unique event to Ibiza and most people enjoy the experience even if they don't like the music (tech/deep house).

Okay we arrive quite late on the sat between 6 and 8pm so was thinking zoo was a day time thing? also we are staying in San An between sunset strip and west end.

i would recommend PACHA saturday 2nd defected with dennis ferrer & copyright
PACHA sunday 3rd vagabundos with luciano & friends
PACHA monday 4th tiesto

not sure there are any other clubs on ibiza. some nice bars though :p :twisted:

Well then it all depends on how quick you can get ready and get out into town. Personally, I always stay at Zoo Project until about 12/1am. Thats when the crowd starts to disperse, so you could definitely get a good few hours in.
There is also a place just down from Privilege called 'Underground'. It is an old abandoned house (rumored to be Mick Jagger's) that has been converted club-ish style.
Tickets are usually 10 euro and can be bought on the door - although you might need to ask the taxi driver if he knows where it is first, as it is quite hidden. Again, quite a unique event.

On the other hand, most promoters are having their opening parties around that point, i.e HedKandi @ es Paradis (which is just down the road from you). That will probably be your best bet, as you've got the lure of the illustrious West End at your feet (open all hours), which everyone likes their first time.

thanks stroy, I think on the sat night that will be the best option, looking at the calender thats really the only thing on!

Any idea about boat partys or "booze cruises" apart from pukka up?
 
Underground isn't that hidden lol its just up the sliproad and your there! I wouldn't suggest you go to Undeground as much as its one of my favourite parts of Ibiza I think for those going first time and looking for spectacles such as Tiesto at Pacha they would be highly dissapointed at underground which in my opinion is a getaway from all the big clubbing scene for the true house lovers and not unlike an undergrouind night in the UK!
I think zoo project is a good 1 for you lot though

thanks moj, im desperate to go to Zoo, never been in my 3 visits! the only is that I arrive around 4pm on sat (as flying in from venice) and everyone else gets in around 8pm so by time we get to the hotel dump cases and back out zoo will be winding down? :cry:
 
It's amazing how many people think Avicii at Ushuaia on a Sunday is a confirmed thing.

@ibizaclubnews on twitter has something like 11K followers and just come our with rumours and random rubbish...and tend to be behind the times when it does actually come to announcing club news :lol:

If you're friends havent been before then the Hed Kandi opening is a good place to start as Es Paradis is such a great club to be in.

Would probably suggest Pacha for the other 2 nights as well

Simple solution. Go check in and head to zoo by yourself. Meet up with your mates later when they've settled themselves in.

Odds are on he wouldnt want to do that.
I would honestly go to Zoo anyway. There are plenty of free buses towards the end which will take you back to San An where you could go to es Paradis anytime up to 2am - and still have a quality time.
