Ibiza Virgins again! Re music and accomodation only

Hi there,
You're probably fed up with Ibiza virgins :spank: but please one last time your help is needed.

a. Music:
What are best parties/clubs that feature:
1. Progressive or funky house, and slow electro - going a bit trancy,
2. areas for chilling out and enjoying the highs :? (i.e. large couches, dark rooms, etc.).

b. Accomodation:
Not all of us are between ages of 18-25 or something... so do you know good quiet accomodation near whichever clubs you're about to reccommend.

I plan to be there this Sep between 1st-17th.

Hey there. I'll have a shot at question no. 1.

Renaissance at Pacha is a biweekly party featuring the top progressive house DJs. You're trip happens to fall on the week when Steve Lawler is tentatively scheduled to headline. Should be a good night... Renaissance was one of my favorite nights on my recent trip.

Good house options include many of the other nights at Pacha - Release Yourself, Subliminal, Def Mix - as well as Azuli at Space, several of the nights at El Divino (Milk & 2 Sugars has some good line-ups), and the list goes on. I prefer Release Yourself because Roger Sanchez is a very solid DJ - starts the night a bit funky then throws on tribal and deeper house (and even electro and a taste of tech house) as the night goes on. Pacha also has the funky room where you'll almost always find some funky tunes.

You'll also want to do We Love at Space. There's a smorgasboard of music there from funky house on the terrace in the afternoon to progressive, techno, etc. inside at night, depending on which DJs are booked. You're lucky because that week has Sasha, James Zabiela and Danny Howells, among others. Very nice line-up.

While I'm enjoying these linguistic comments - studied myself linguistics, though English is not my native - I still need some tips on accomodation:(.

Hmm... a quiet hotel.

3 years ago we stayed in Atzaro in Playa den Bossa. They were 1-bedroom apartments set back about a block off of the main street (and accessed by going a block back and a block over). We thought it was a little expensive for what you got, and that might be why there was a more adult clientelle. It was relatively quiet compared to other places we've stayed (except for the occasional plane going overhead)

For chilling during the day, get yourself up to Coastline. A right good mix of people and you can have a few drinks and talk nonsense to randomn strangers.

I hope I'm not overdoing with queries but just watched some youtube clips of Pacha and Space you guys recommended and thought there was too much light and human noise about.

Am I wrong? Cause I'm really up for more intimate club spaces to really enjoy the ride :roll:. Pacha in London for example is excellent on the second floor, or the darker dance floor in The Cross, or The End, and so on.

As for the clubs here in Prishtina or Skopje, pheww,... you go and think they actually do not let in anyone over 18 or 20, and your pupils are devastated by spotlights8O8O8O, and "clubbers" do sing-a-longs:evil: and they move around so much you think everyone is on speed... I wish I knew one of those wierd words to describe it properly:?:.

Both the clubs you mention, pacha & space have a number of rooms - within each place, but particulalrly space you will find exactly what you want. Ive never been but dc10 sounds like as hardcore a place as you could find.
