Just booked flights and accomadation for my first trip to ibiza. We are flying out sunday june 2nd 6am until wednesday 5th june. Got 3 ngts in jet apartments.

Looking at the calendar for those dates it does not look like much is on. Main thing for me will be dc10 on monday. Will it be busy that early in june?

Also, is it possible events will happen those dates but nothing has been confirmed yet?

Cheers

there will be more happening of course, we're just waiting for the promoters to confirm their nights. but you've choosen a fairly quiet week still TBH. don't expect the island to be packed (which is nice though). circoloco will be busy, but in june dc10 is mostly not packed.

Thanks buddy! Shame it will be quiet. I was limited by work for time off. Looking forward to circoloco on 3rd june. Fingers crossed something is announced for the sunday day/ngt!

I'd say it is at it's busiest from Mid July until the end of August. Still more than busy enough during the other times from May - October though.

If this is your maiden trip to Ibiza then i personally think it's probabaly a good thing you're not travelling right in the middle of silly season (mid-July to end of August as Evolution says).

Not only is that when the clubs are at their most mental and packed to the rafters but it's also when you get the big crowds of youths descend on the island, because it's during school/college/uni holidays and the atmosphere is somewhat, erm, "different". Even for a seasoned-vet that can be a little too intense, and put you off. Not to mention give you an inaccurate perception of Ibiza.

The fact that there isn't going to be loads of parties on at the time when you go will actually do you a favour imho. I think it will make you go to a party you perhaps wouldn't normally consider. And sometimes going outside your comfort zone and experiencing new things is better than sticking to what you know - and that is especially true in Ibiza! :)

You will have a great time still, and then, after you fall in love with the island, it will give you better scope to what you want to do on your second visit to the island (which you will probably start planning the minute you arrive home!)

If last few years are anything to go by then I would expect Pacha's weekly line-up to be pretty much started by then - although this year marks a big transition for them, so that could of course change as much as the line-ups. And there will be events going-on at the other clubs, just that they might be one-off parties as opposed to weekly fixtures.

Thanks for the great replys!!! We are heading out last of June to early July . Hopefully that is the happy medium time.

i would like a bit of room to bust a move;)

Thanks for the reply white isle! We are all late 20's early 30's so we wanted to avoid the school holiday season crowd. I'm not overly worried about being in a big club packed like sardines. I am just as happy to find a smaller venue where the dj is good and everybody is having a good time. I have had some great nights with small groups of 20-50 people all on the dance floor than 2000+ people pushing each other around.

All of us like to start early so day time parties are high on the agenda for us then we can just flow into the night. Hopefully bora bora will be lively during the day and a trip to sunset strip will be in order for a first time visit.

Would you recommend keeping an eye on the calendar for events and tickets or would we be best arriving and asking around to see what is on and where at the time? Maybe pre sale tickets will not be as important at that time of the season?

By the time you arrive the calendar will be pretty much fully detailed for the season. Alot of the promoters / clubs will announce their lineups at the end of this month / early April after WMC.
Only the very commercial FMIF like events tend to sell out if at any point during the season so you'll be fine for tickets.
