Cafe Mambo for the sunsets, Bar M for the pre parties and the new bus station for the clubs. I never get taxis anywhere- too expensive. You can get a disco bus that takes you to the bigger clubs like Cream @ Amnesia for 2 euro. You can also get to Bora Bora beach via bus. Defo worth checkin out.
You'd prob like Eden as well- they put on a lot of good nights in there.
When you are going clubbing never pay on the door and always get a ticket on the night you plan to go. Clubs never sell out and you can end up paying an extra 20 euro if you don't have a ticket.
You can get tickets at most hotels, bars and shops but the cheapest place to get them is The Pussycat Bar in San antonio town- Its near the main taxi rank and looks onto the water. Never buy tickets off people in the street or on the beach- chances are they will be fakes.

Hope thats of some help 2 u!
Have a good 18)

me too :)

Hi all!

I'm an Ibiza virgin too and i'm going on 6th June (1 month sooner), but i'm thinking about going to Playa Den Bossa. Do you think it's a good spot and what are the best places to go there?
By the way, there are people enough there, at that time, to make great parties?
Thank you for your help, in ahead! :)

For your first time in Ibiza I would recommend San An. There are much more things to do there- bars, restaraunts, sunset strip etc and it is busier. PDB is a nice resort but is only really good for Space & Bora Bora. You would still have to bus or taxi it to get to places like Pacha, El Divino, Amnesia etc.

The clubs are just starting to open up at that time and the Amnesia opening party is on 7th June. You should check that out!

Hi again!

First of all, thank you for your quick reply, Neilly!
As an Ibiza virgin, i don't know much about it and i thought about PDB because Space and Bora Bora, and because of Fiesta Hotel PDB, that looks nice and busy, and just next door of Space. The beach also looked the most nice of all, to me.
But if you recommend San Antonio, i'll seriously consider that option. I'm going to look better for some information and hotels there. I looked to the map, and San Antonio always looked a little bit far away from action, because it was away from Pacha, Space, El Divino and even Amnesia, and away too from Ibiza, the town. But maybe i'm wrong... you're the expert! :)
Thank you once again Neilly!

Hi Zept

You won't be bored in Playa D'en Bossa either - it's near Ibiza Town which has loads of decent places, near Salinas beach which is really good (if you get bored of Playa D'En Bossa beach. San An is very British - has plenty to do and tends to be cheaper for accomodation. The Ibiza Town side of the island is more international. Getting to clubs like Amnesia is easy from either San An or PDB as they are in the middle anyway.

Wherever you go, you'll have a good time.

Hmmm... i see. Thank you Budgie! You're all being very helpful!
If i choose Playa d'en Bossa, anyone know something about Fiesta Playa d'en Bossa Hotel? Or do you recommend me another one? What i want is party all the time, pool party, young people there. I can sleep when i come back to Portugal, no need to do it much at Ibiza! :)

Hello Zept, Budgie is right in saying that both are excellent resorts to stay in but I would have to say that San An is definately more young and lively. I have stayed there the last 3 years in arow and am returning there in August. PDB has a lot more amount of families and couples than San An, and I feel San An has got more of a 'vibe' than PDB- but you will have an excellent time wherever you choose to go!

The distance driving from San An to PDB is only 25mins anyway and there are plenty of free Disco buses put on by the clubs that will take you up and down the main autopista at night so you will have no trouble getting about!

I've only been to Ibiza once and stayed in Playa den Bossa and I loved it. If you want to go to Eden and es Paridis, stay in San An. If you want to party at Space, Bora Bora, and DC 10 stay in PDB. The cabs back and forth get expensive.

From what I've heard and read, Fiesta Hotels are fun and lively. The one you want is Fiesta Club Play den Bossa. According to the web site it is full of young people on vacation along with all you can eat and drink included.

Hope that helps

Thats why ya stay in SAN AN and rent a car for the week and get to all the clubs when you want too.If im not mistaken San An bars get to open at regular times as well.

This is a good idea although not so good if you like to get intoxicated 8O8O8O specially with all the road side checks going on.

12 noon for San An bars 8)8)8)8) San An is great as long as you don't stay in the west end too long; sunset strip is great as is Plastik/Itica etc

It sounds like...

No matter where you decide to stay, there's a lively crowd of young partiers like myself, whether is PDB or SA...either way there are people from all over ready to party...and it sounds like no matter which side you stay on, its really easy to get to the other side (i.e. you stay sa, ways to get to space, bora bora etc).

the buses seem like a great idea, but so do taxis, and so does renting a car...I'm starting to think that I just need to book the flight, find a cheap hotel in San Antonio, and figure out what I want to do when I get there. It seems like there is just waaaaayyyyy to much to do in one trip, so I think im just gonna go and get in as much as i can, and take it from there...

I know I'll be back again, and i can do whatever I didn't get to do the next time!!!!!!

I'm feeling good about this! I can't wait! The more I sit on this forum and research the clubs and the bars and life and people...I wanna just get up and go right now and stay the entire summer!!! AHHHH!!! gotta wait 4 months!

IBIZA HERE I COME!!!!

Same feeling around here mate! :)

Coastline is great for watching the sunset and food, as mentioned before Plastik and Itaca are good in west end!!! Good bar opposite the subway cant remember its name!!!

West end is okay for cheap nights, any more than two or three and you'll get fed up of it!!!

Monday i'll book the hotel. PDB or San An... that is the question! :)
Look really good both options!

Have a nice weekend!

Hi!
Me and my friends are going on 3rd September. I'm looking for a piece of advice regarding parties. I read some reviews about Cream and how overcrowded Amnesia is on Thurdays so I've already given up an idea of going there(really wanted to see PvD though). Can anyone tell me which patries we should avoid cause I wouldn't like to spend 60 Euros on party where you can hardly move. I'm considering Release Yourself and Armada now. According to reviews both Subliniminal and **** me I'm famous seem to be as much busy nights as Cream.
Thanks in advance!

Pacha is very busy every night because of the ever expanding vip area making the rest of the crowd very cramped. My advice to you regarding Amnesia would be to go to Cocoon or Armada. They are not as overcrowded as Cream. Tiesto on a monday at Privilege is not to be missed this year either so I would think about going to that one.

You shouldn't have to spend 60 euros anywhere if u buy a pre-sale ticket in advance. If you buy a ticket on the day for the party you are going to you should expect to spend between 25-50 euro. You can buy tickets in many bars and shops across the island.
