Ibiza virgin..HELP!

In my humble opinion, San Ann has a lot to offer, but it is the least attractive place on the Island, but it depends what you like, and if you want hang out in a hugely commercial bay, with loads of low end predominately English, getting pissed in average venues, good luck to you, you'll have a great time!!

There is however, a whole load more to it than that!!!

Indeed there is, but how much would you have appreciated it at 18:?:

You can cab or bus to all the other venues on the island, from San An, although if you want to go the best clubs every night, you would be better in Playa D'En Bossa or Ibiza Town. IMO some of the idiots in El Divino are, in their own way, just as 'low end' as the worst of San Antonio.

Philly, again only my opinion, but your view of San An seems to be characterised by the West End which is a tiny part of the whole area. If you care to look beyond that, you can eat at places like this, www.ibiza-restaurants.com/sacapella/ , you can go for a beer in the lovely little outdoor bar at the Cap Blanc Aquarium or just two streets from the West End you can go to Cafe Babel, an excellent Spanish bar, serving great tapas all week and top drawer sushi on Saturdays. They also regularly change the work of local artists on display.

As with most situations, at either end of the island, you find what you look for.

odd how the word commercial is used rather emotively here as a 'bad' adjective. as commercial implies dealing in commerce - selling people what they want - is there a difference between an establishment that sells cheap beer, has karaoke and drag acts, and plays 'cheesey' music and a hotel/shop/restaurant/disco chain with a couple of cherries as an emblem?

i think none.

So Club
Paraiso

?

Someone said a while back you get a club rep showing you around? do they come with the hotel your staying with or is that
separate

?

Many thanks

younge

We were staying at a hotel out the way not in San An and we still had a rep come round trying to sell us tickets to various nights so I am sure if you do stay in San An there will be one, when we went to San An it was full of people trying to get you in bars/clubs etc

;) Mate, if you're going to San Antonio, you arent going to come across many, if any families with kiddies running around!

Anyway, i went for the first time at 18, you will love it, beleive me.

Stay in the Paraiso, or somewhere like the San Francisco apartments.

now, this isnt everyones cup of tea, but if i were you, id consider going with club 18-30. Lets face it, you're not going to ibiza to get away from it all are you!!?

Im sure you've seen the programmes!

They're pretty cheap aswell, the reps are available at all times for what ever you want, almost to an annoying level, theres plenty of girlies to get your mitts into, and you can get all your tickets and all that.
Alot of people slate the excursions, but they're a laugh, and they're a good way to meet people and all that.

Reckon you'd do a fortnight, mid august or july, for about 400 notes all in.

Have fun... i do! mwahaha!

I agree, you said you wanted a mad one, and this sounds like your best bet. We were on a coach with 18-30s people and they were all very drunk and having lots of fun - so prob your cup of T

I'd say the difference is anything up to 200 euros a night.
