Ibiza trip in jeapordy...

... cause I'm seriously considering buying a house/flat soon. Can someone stop me from being so damn sensible? I need Ibiza!!!
 
I bought my house last year and said after last years trip that i won't be going again for a couple of years.

and now, well roll on September! 8)

if i don't have the cash i'll borrow it or get a new plastic friend or something! :lol:
 
Go to Ibiza! You've got the rest of your life to be boring and do things like buy houses :D

Besides, Ibiza is going to cost you...? £1000?

That's such a tiny percentage of whatever you'll be spending on a mortgage so it doesn't really count ;)

Im not in any rush to move but I've spotted a flat for sale thats actually next door to my best mate Yvonne. The property itself is in fantastic nick for the price, and is pretty much ready to move in, would just need to take a bed and buy a suite. Plus points include a large amount of money being pumped into the area in the next 10-15 years on redevlopment projects as its not the best just now, but the area does have huge potential. Some people in the know have assured me its gonna be a boom area in the future once all the junkies go away. Added bonus is, I can walk to work from here and would be able to do without a car, much as it pains me! I know Ibiza isn't goin anywhere, but its all I've thought about since getting back last year, and I even have my holiday itinerary planned out (subject to change). I dunno what to do!
 
you say you can do without your car.... then could you sell it - use the cash for ibiza,

i would def buy the house, but couldnt you get a £800 credit card and treat yourself to ibiza too

Can't you do both?? I'm a big believer in buying property.........but then nothing comes between me and my Ibiza hols. Couldn't you buy, not spend much on inside etc and use that to go to Ibiza, then spend on the house next year.
 
Hmm... I'm liking Barbie's idea. But its gonna involve some collosal saving and a splurge on the Visa, which incidentally needs cleared too. I'd sell my car but I need it over the summer, cause I can take the roof off and I need to drive about looking cool. Beside's I wouldn't get enough for it in its present state to pay for a trip to Ibiza, it's really needing resprayed first. Im more willing to sell it cause its draining my cashflow at the moment. Custom exhaust system bill nearing 800 notes now goddamit.

Instructions:

Buy dog.

Sign dog up on a few credit card websites.

Wait a week.

Dog will receive offer for a new credit card, probably from capital one.

Dog will accept credit card offer, and proptly buy a trip to ibiza and get itself a doggy passport.

Dog won't be able to pay for credit card.

Daily Mail will take up your case and pay credit card bill when credit card company try and repossess dog and it's dog bowl.

There you go. Easy.
