Ibiza town for drinks before pacha?

Staying in San Antonio September, booked Claptone (through spotlight of course), getting dinner at the hotel..
Usually just go to Pacha straight from the hotel or maybe after a bar in San An but is it worth going out in Ibiza town first then walking or taxi across the port? says around 30 minute walk?

Would really like to try out Paradise Lost since a few on here have spoke about it and it’s husbands first clubbing trip so wanted to not just drink in the room all night before hand, plus the taxi situation, thought maybe if we try flag one earlyer to at least get to that side of the island 🙄

any other ideas welcome!
did think of the disco bus so that is another option but there is 4 of us so thought probs worth just getting a taxi..

It's definitely worth popping to the port to enjoy some drinks pre-club - it's one of my favourite things to do and you can't go wrong with Paradise Lost. I also like Tango bar and El Pirata, but you're going to pay a similar price in most of the bars.

I also really like the walk. I think it's closer to 20 minutes assuming you walk at a normal pace without any afflictions. The queue for the taxi might be a bit outrageous. Unfortunately the disco bus goes first to Pacha and then Ibiza Town (outside McDonalds) before heading back to San Antonio, so not really an option

We sometimes had a nice time in the Versus bar (including music) or Prince Bakery direct in opposite to the Pacha to have some drinks and just enjoy watching all different people of the night. Also nice is the bar of the calma in the new marina with a brilliant view to Ibiza town. But I have no idea whether these location still exist after the pandemic…..

I always love a drink in the port, great place to people watch.

The walk to Pacha isnt great, but it is doable and sometimes if the Taxi queue is long you haven't got a choice anyway. Taxi queue might not be too bad in September though.

15 to 20 min walk ( not drunken )

Petite Vermouth maybe a idea ? Cheap and good for people watching. Less Tables.

Personally I love the walk from town to Pacha, it’s part of the build up for me. However, if you’re with a lady (or guy I suppose) in heals / inappropriate shoes they will kill you. You’ve been warned.

I liked it at Tirapalla when we visited a couple of weeks ago - beware of the steep stairs to get up to the bar! It was quite busy, and by the time we left there were people waiting for tables.
