This x 100000. Plus there are lots of police stops around the island in summer.

It is just not worth it at all. Also worth adding that alcohol levels are very low in Spain - lower than England (similar to Scotland) - so even a pint or glass of wine will show as a failed test.

They are more interested if you are on drugs rather than drink I've found. By either is wrong wrong wrong!

If cost is the issue use buses, slightly more inconvenient but less inconvenient thank being dead or in jail for causing death by drink driving.
 
Even if you don't have an accident, the fines for foreigners are enormous, plus you couldn't rent a car in ibiza for 3 years I believe.
 
So I just made a very simple taxi fare calculator bot for telegram, Please note that it only calculates the price of the distance, it does not take into account call supplements, waiting time or port/airport surcharges, you can find it on https://t.me/Taxiibizapricesbot or searching inside telegram @taxiibizapricesbot , and to make it work just start it and type /calcular xx being xx the number of kilometers.

It seems that it is possible to order a taxi through whastapp, I have not been able to check it yet, if someone needs a taxi and wants to try it out, let us know how it works.

Yesterday I did try as a costumer how to order a taxi with whatsapp and I was surprised of how simple and easy it is, so i will prepare a tiktok guide of how to use it, for the moment I leave for you the script.
