Hello beloved forum members. We seek your assistance once again.

We are asking any of you who wish to contribute your favourite memories from Amnesia from the last fifty years for a feature to mark the club's big anniversary.

We'd love to include as many contributions from our community as possible. We can't promise that we'll be able to include everything (especially in their unedited format...) but we'll certainly try our best. The funnier and weirder the better. Also any memories about a specific DJ set and track would be great. The rest we'll leave up to you. Thanks in advance :)

I should also add, we're giving away a few pairs of Pyramid guest list spots for the posts which make us laugh or raise the hairs on the back of our necks the most

Wouldnt know where to start with all the times ive been there and certainly no great storyteller, but from falling asleep in the garden numerous times and waking up to someone checking im ok and i proceed to sleep talk absolute gibberish and then in my early years dancing at front of dj booth in the main room with my t shirt off, sweating my bollocks off, which looking back makes me cringe a bit...

But most recent memorable night or more a holiday experience was closing in 2023... got upgraded to vip balcony tickets days before through a friend who was with us, who worked for Adidas and they were a sponsor that year. 6 of us landed late afternoon and went straight to our hotel in San An to check in, once done we got taxi back to Pdb to go to Melon Bomb closing Tanit, great time there and then back to hotel to freshen up for Amnesia closing, arrived around 1-1:30 and up the vip stairs we we went, first time up there for us all. Mooched about to get our bearings and went to the bar etc. Come about 2:30am i needed the dancefloor, so i summoned the 2 lads with me and left the 3 girls on the balcony and down the stairs to the main room we went, Charlotte De Witte was playing i think and as ive got to the dancefloor and looked behind me to check my pals still in tow they were nowhere to be seen, i didnt give a toss and carried on, little did i know that i wouldnt see any of the group again that night... I went to the garden for a breather after 5am at some point and had missed calls and texts saying they had all left around 5am... No memorable moments or tracks but i remember being above the dj booth in the terrace with Jones and Capriati playing and still feeling some stamina left, but it was light and i was sobering up and started to feel a little self concious with big groups around me and a little out of place. I left around 10am and some lads asked to get in my cab and were going San An too. Pulled up at their hotel and i decided to jump out and have a stroll not knowing i was somewhere in the bay. Stomped back to my hotel Invisa Es Pla fully intent on going bed, upon my arrival my group were just finishing up breakfast, after a little conversation off i went to grab my speaker and spent the rest of the day boozing round the pool, which carried on right through till breakfast Monday after attending Pikes Sunday.

40+ hours of booze and no sleep...I wasnt in the best of nick to say the least but have and would do it all again 😬

Also a great but unexpected night was the Magdalena party at Cova Santa that got washed out. Spent hours in a bar getting pissed deliberating what to do and got news it was moving to Amnesia. Flew to hotel to get changed and arrived at Amnesia to the dj booth being side on and Solomun up there playing. Was a top night musically and mingled with so many people that night, it just had a really great atmosphere i think due to the unexpected circumstances.

Funnily enough the first time I went to Amnesia I errr got amnesia. It was Cream I think - Calvin Harris was the big name that night. I remember walking in, and not a whole lot else 😵‍💫
