Ellie Goulding is undoubtedly one of the UK's most singular and compelling songwriters. In the two-and-a-half years since releasing massive debut album Lights, Ellie has secured huge global success including the USA where she's sold over 3m albums. Back with new album Halcyon and lead single, Anything Could Happen, Ellie shows a new immersion in electronica and dance beats, producing a fascinating collision between the clubbing scene and Ellie's love of folk-pop soundscapes. These gigs are perfectly placed and it is a huge honour to have one of the worlds most successful female solo stars take centre stage for her debut at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel.
After tearing up the new year in style with the release of DirteeTV.com The Mixtape Vol.2, Dizzee Rascal releases featured track Bassline Junkiethis month, a taster of what's to come from Dizzee's forthcoming fifth studio album and his headline gig at Ibiza Rocks. It's been almost 10 years since Dizzee released his debut single and Rocks is proud to have been on an incredible journey with the East London MC turned worldwide legend who has just been chosen by Muse to appear as a special guest on their UK Stadium tour. Having first headlined Ibiza Rocks in 2008, Dizzee's love affair with Ibiza began and headline gigs followed in 2009, 2010 and 2011. Back to the Balearics and so, to his home away from home, Dizzee will once again bring his genre-fusing musical genius to the famous open-air Ibiza Rocks stage with a full new live show.
Since performing at Ibiza Rocks in 2011 just as they released their debut album, London indie-rock outfit The Vaccines have smashed the live scene, released No.1 follow up album Come of Age and become one of the most sought after bands on the festival scene. Having sold out London's Alexandra Palace and 02 Arena within 6 months of each other and currently on a sold out European Tour, the guys will be Balearic bound once more for a headline show in Ibiza before continuing stateside where their success has also soared. Support on this show comes from Palma Violets, who have just completed the NME Awards Tour and are arguably the most hyped band since The Libertines. A special show guaranteed.

Since supporting Dizzee Rascal & The Streets at Ibiza Rocks two years, Rizzle Kicks' success has gone stratospheric. There's a mutual love between the Rizzles andthe Rocks - they even filmed their video for ‘Dreamers' at Ibiza Rocks House at Pikes last summer. Having hooked up with Norman Cook and Neptunes super producer Pharrell Williams on their forthcoming new album and currently touring the U.S with fellow Rocks headliner Ed Sheeran, Rizzle Kicks will bring BIG things back to the famous open-air Ibiza Rocks stage this summer.
But before that, Ibiza Rocks will kick off the season in style in with the unique swagger and sound of Jake Bugg - BRIT award nominee for Best British Breakthrough Artist and one of the most hotly anticipated singer/songwriters of this generation. Previously announced artists also include Example who will make a triumphant return to the island with his full live festival show for his headline gigs and, arguably the ‘must see' live band of the moment, Foals, who will headline the Ibiza Rocks Closing Party, supported by newly announced Sydney based duo Jagwar Mar who are hotly tipped as ‘ones to watch' for 2013.
Ibiza Rocks Group is also pleased to announce a new partnership with MTV, to screen live performances, exclusive artist interviews and all the highlights from the 16 week long series of outdoor gigs from the Ibiza Rocks Hotel this summer. Seven shows will be broadcast in total, with 3 x 30 min artist specials from Ibiza Rocks, and 2 x 60 min (multi-artist) compilation shows incorporating live track selection and exclusive interviews from Ibiza Rocks and its sister across the water. Coverage will also feature interview footage from Ibiza Rocks House at Pikes Hotel, the legendary rock ‘n' roll Ibiza retreat where the headline bands stay. Award-winning London based production company, JJ Stereo, will produce all content.
More ‘must see' solo stars, bands and cutting edge DJ's will be announced over the coming weeks, so fans can forget the mud and rain this summer and start looking forward to the gig, and holiday of a lifetime on the White Island.

The boat that Rocks! Ibiza ‘Rocks the Boat' is the original pre gig party on the high seas. Expect only the biggest Rocks tunes and indie classics on deck as the boat sets sail from the San Antonio harbour every WEDNESDAY before an epic night of live music under the Balearic stars at Ibiza Rocks.
With Ibiza Rocks resident DJ's on board bringing the tunes, acoustic performances every week and more than a few special guests making appearances throughout the summer (Example, Labrinth and Annie Mac have joined the party the last few years)

Having first smashed the charts with their killer hit Take Me Out and their self-titled debut album in 2002, Glasgow boys Franz Ferdinand are back, and Balearic bound. They've ticked off a Mercury Music Prize, BRIT Awards for Best British Group and Best British Rock Act, NME Awards, multiple Grammy Award nominations, sold over 3 million albums worldwide and are soon to release their hugely anticipated fourth studio album. This band were a huge influence on Ibiza Rocks, helping fuel the concept of promoting gigs for 'dance kids who rock and rock kids who dance.' Ibiza Rocks is exceptionally proud to be bringing one of the world's best live bands to make their debut on the famous open-air Ibiza Rocks stage this summer.

Bastille's just released debut album Bad Blood went straight to the top of the UK album charts, with No.2 single Pompeii taking over the airwaves across Europe. Fronted by UK singer/songwriter Dan Smith, this is a ‘must see' live act on the festival scene this summer and Ibiza Rocks is delighted to have Bastille on the bill. Support comes from hotly tipped and indefinable Bristol mob The Other Tribe. Championed by both indie and electronic music lovers, the band cross musical boundaries and their illustrious new single Skirts is as infectious as their live set.
Bastille's Dan Smith said: “We're really looking forward to getting out to Ibiza for the first time. Being able to play a gig and then go to the beach will be a massive novelty, and it'll be nice to see a bit of proper summer and try to head to some of the massive clubs as well. I hear the Ibiza Rocks gigs are great and we've been told they throw a pretty decent party so it should be a lot of fun."
Chase and Status are undoubtedly one of the most exciting and successful British bands of the past decade. Their double platinum, second album No More Idols sold over 600,000 copies in the UK alone and spawned over 2 million singles. They were the biggest selling band in the UK in 2011, behind Coldplay, sold out tour after tour in the UK, Europe, US and Australia and played live at 36 festivals around the world last summer. Phenomenal track Big Man with Liam Bailey has provided a taster of what's to come from their highly anticipated third album, due for release in summer.

Tinie Tempah is neither a stranger to the Ibiza Rocks stage and always puts on an extra special show – last time he performed he bound off stage, stunning one group of fans by reappearing to perform from their bedroom balcony! Since becoming the undisputed breakout star of 2010, Tinie's career has soared. Debut single Pass Out exploded around the globe and follow up tracks Frisky, Written in the Stars and Miami 2 Ibiza all had the same effect. Debut album Disc-Overy is still regarded as one of the most refreshing and confident UK debuts of all time. Back to headline, live under the stars, Tinie Tempah is sure to showcase new material from his highly anticipated second album Demonstration and to put on a high-energy show packed with smash hits and more surprises.

As well as huge festival headliners, global selling artists and music icons, Ibiza Rocks proudly presents a platform for the best breaking talent. Think Findlay, Amplify Dot, London Grammar and Temples who join who previously announced supports Palma Violets, The Other Tribe, Jagwar Ma and Redlight to showcase the best in new music.
This year, Ibiza Rocks will celebrate it's eighth birthday and what better band to bring in for the celebration than Beady Eye, with Liam Gallagher - icon to the Rocks generation - swaggering centre stage and debuting tracks from their hugely anticipated second album BE. Original Ibiza Rocker and master of new music Zane Lowe will also play, with support coming from Temple completing a stellar birthday bill.
It's an Ibiza debut for Beady Eye but festival giants Biffy Clyro are responsible for some standout Rocks shows, having played the opening party in 2010 and headlining the 6[SUP]th[/SUP] birthday party in 2011. The boys and are back, bigger than ever, and plan to rock Ibiza to its core once more in July.
Back by popular demand is fans favourite Professor Green who will also return with new material for massive shows in both resorts in July and is clearly happy about it, saying, “Very, very excited to be back at Ibiza, can't wait to perform some of the new album! Let's f@ckin' 'ave it!â€
In August, it's a Rocks debut for AlunaGeorge who have exploded onto the scene and featured on one of the biggest tracks of the year ‘White Noise' with Disclosure. Nominated for the BRITs Critics Choice Award and BBC's Sound of 2013 and with debut album ‘Body Music' out in July, this will be one seriously hot summer set.
September will see a music legend at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel as Chic feat. Nile Rodgers perform huge hit after hit, live under the stars. From Madness, to The Specials to New Order, every year Rocks books a band that have shaped the music scene and influenced generations after them. Nile Rodgers is one of the most influential producers of all time, forming CHIC in the 70's with tracks such as ‘Le Freak,' ‘I Want Your Love,' ‘Everybody Dance' and ‘Good Times' propelling disco back in the day and still dance classics now. From CHIC's own hits to Rodgers producing massive tracks like ‘We Are Family' and ‘He's The Greatest Dancer' for Sister Sledge, ‘Upside Down' and ‘I'm Coming Out' for Diana Ross, producing David Bowie's biggest selling album ‘Let's Dance' and Madonna's blockbuster album ‘Like a Virgin' – Nile Rodgers is ‘The Hitmaker'. Add to that working with Jeff Beck, The Thompson Twins, Duran Duran, Mick Jagger, and most recently Daft Punk, giving them their biggest hit to date with No.1 single ‘Get Lucky' – the soundtrack of the summer. The Ibiza Rocks crowd will certainly get lucky in September as a true dance music pioneer takes centre stage.
And with Foals heading up the Ibiza Rocks Closing Party, the season is set to end with an almighty bang.
