Ibiza Rocks, celebrating its 5th series of summer shows, raises the bar and the roof once again with its strongest and most diverse line up to date. The Kooks, Klaxons, The Enemy, Vampire Weekend, MGMT, Dizzee Rascal, Pendulum and Zane Lowe set the standard for a sensational summer. Every Tuesday from 16 June to 8 September, Ibiza Rocks 2009 will see the biggest bands and best breakthrough artists pitch up poolside, party under the stars and put on a live show like no other.

Ibiza Rocks kicks off on Tuesday 16 June with some very special surprise guests at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel, the only hotel to offer an auditorium style atmosphere and private viewing balconies off the bedrooms! Known for nurturing the best new bands, Ibiza Rocks first booked The Kooks in 2005, unsigned and unknown. Now they return as one of the biggest and best bands in Britain and will take to the infamous open-air stage set in the very centre of the Ibiza Rocks Hotel on 30 June.

Ibiza will just keep getting hotter in the weeks that follow with Pendulum, The Enemy, Dizzee Rascal and Zane Lowe – back by popular demand and a personal mission to be back at the epicentre of the action in the newly rejuvenated San Antonio.

Keeping it a truly international affair, New York based bands Vampire Weekend and MGMT will perform for the very first time at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel on 18 August and 25 August – two of the most exciting names in music right now at the most happening hotel in Ibiza. Ibiza Rocks closing party on 8 September comes courtesy of Klaxons; guitar kids diving into dance culture – a match made in music heaven and the perfect end to what’s going to be Ibiza Rocks’ most outstanding series of summer gigs yet.

Joining the already incredible line up of artists announced for this years’ Ibiza Rocks are The Ting Tings, Groove Armada, Friendly Fires, Soulwax, Frankmusik, Kissy Sell Out, Burn the Negative, South Central and Zane Lowe. All will take to the open air stage in the very centre of the Ibiza Rocks Hotel during Ibiza Rocks’ 5th summer season of live shows, every Tuesday from 16 June to 8 September.

The Ting Tings have already rocked the foundations of pop and now they will rock the foundations of the Ibiza Rocks Hotel as they kick off a sensational summer of sizzling hot gigs on 16 June. Supporting Ting Tings and bringing his synths and beats to the Balearics will be Frankmusik plus Radio 1 DJ and champion of the best new bands, Zane Lowe.

Hailing from St. Albans, Herefordshire, Friendly Fires have made a massive splash on the music scene with their special blend of dance come indie come post-punk pop! The critically acclaimed band will take to the Ibiza Rocks stage on 23 June for a special gig and a sneak preview of what to expect when they support Blur later this summer

On 21 July, Groove Armada will bring their incredible big beats back to Ibiza. Dynamic duo and master remixers Andy Cato and Tom Findlay are no strangers to Ibiza but this special live set at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel is certain to be an unforgettable first!

Another first comes from South Central who will be tearing up the dance floor with their electro-punk tunes, supporting Pendulum on the 28 July.

Alternative rock/electro outfit Soulwax will put on a live show like no other at Ibiza Rocks on 1 September. Also known for their influential contributions to ‘bastard pop’ under the name 2manydjs, the Belgium brothers will make an incredible FIVE appearances as 2manydjs at Ibiza Rocks’ official after party Reclaim the Dancefloor at Eden this summer. ‘Ones To Watch’ Burn the Negative will support Soulwax at Ibiza Rocks on 1 September.

We've already announced the likes of MGMT, The Klaxons, Dizzee Rascal and more; now it's time to reveal the next wave of peerless live acts who'll be soundtracking the best summer of your life.

One of the coolest, inventive and downright sexiest bands to emerge in recent years. Perfect for Ibiza. Perfect for Ibiza Rocks. DJ support comes from Frankmusik and the legendary Zane Lowe.

June 23 - Friendly Fires
Without doubt the coolest new band of the past year, Friendly Fires have claimed the hearts of kids and critics alike. Give them yours.

July 7 - Top Secret Headliner
This week's headliner is still classified, but we can tell you that the superb Kissy Sell Out will play live.

July 14 – Top Secret Headliner (announced later this week!)
Once again, we're not at liberty to divulge the identity of our headliner just yet. Turntable support comes from Zane Lowe.

July 21 - Groove Armada
The party-starting maestros play their first show on the white island. We have a feeling it won't be the last.

September 1 - Soulwax & Burn the Negative
Returning for an unprecedented third year running, Soulwax are peerless whether in front of the amps or behind the decks. Support comes from Burn the Negative.

Calvin jets in to headline the Ibiza Rocks Hotel on Tuesday July 7th.

Support at the show will come from Radio 1's very own Kissy Sellout (Live).

Advance ticket holders will also get entry to the Reclaim The Dancefloor aftershow at Eden featuring Kissy Sellout, Fake Blood and High Contrast.

We've been putting the last few finishing touches to the Ibiza Rocks Hotel - the new stage is up, the lights are in - and making sure it's the perfect poolside playground for the best Ibiza Rocks season yet.

On Tuesday 16th we'll be kicking down the doors on a whole summer of sound with The Ting Tings, Frankmusik and DJs Zane Lowe, Doorly and Daisy Heartbreaker all going live at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel. It's gonna be massive.

Plus, later that same night we'll be hosting the very first Reclaim The Dancefloor! at Eden with massive barn-burning performances from 2ManyDjs, Zane Lowe, Steve Aoki, Doorly, Cassette Jam and Daisy Heartbreaker.

As you all know by now entry to the Reclaim! afterparty is always included in any ticket purchased on the website.
