RocknRave at Ibiza Rocks House
To top off the panels at The International Music Summit Get Tested! Back to The Phuture and Ibiza Rocks House present RocknRave.
A Q&A panel of unique guests hosted by Back to The Phuture's Mark Jones at the legendary Ibiza Rocks House. RocknRave will feature leading lights that played a part in driving Ibiza's party scene, each with an exclusive insight on what went on. Mark Jones will be steering panel members to talk about what they have done and how they have got to where they are now?
With his profound knowledge of music, not to mention his contribution, from the early days of Acid House parties to Wall of Sound via Propellerheads, Jacques Lu Cont, Grace Jones and Tiesto to Back to the Phuture on BBC Radio 6, Mark Jones will lead the discussion with insight and a bit of comedy.
Previously known as Pikes, Ibiza Rocks House will form the background to the discussion. Ibiza Rocks House is steeped in Ibizencan cultural history. It's former owner Tony Pike hosted wild Freddie Mercury fuelled parties and these days it's the venue for the Ibiza Rocks after-parties throughout the summer.
The event will ultimately raise money for The Hepatitis C Trust's flagship awareness campaign Get Tested! Raising awareness through music and discussion is a powerful way to effect change, get more people tested and in turn save lives. Deaths from hepatitis outnumber those of HIV now and they are all unnecessary deaths.
The event will be held on May 26 at 5pm, Entrance is free so come early to avoid disappointment. Names announced shortly.

Heritage Project presents "When Freddie met Michael" 19.05.12
Imagine yourself back in 1983, driving on the other side of the hill towards an unknown town called San Antonio – “the other place†as the Ibicencos called it. In this strange and mysterious part of the island some of the world's most iconic pop stars had found their home, even if it was just for a few days. “Pikes†is not just a hotel, it's an Ibizan institution and probably one of the most emblematic locations that is ever popular with celebrities — guests have included Tony Curtis, Grace Jones and Kylie — but its reputation was sealed after Freddie Mercury's 40th-birthday and when used as the location for the Club Tropicana video.
Alfredo has seen this unique place evolve in the past 30 years and shares a very special emotion for it and together as THE HERITAGE PROJECT we are very proud to invite you for an evening of eclectic beats where we will go back in time and create a very special soundtrack playing different aspects from pop, funk and disco to early dance music from the likes of Arthur Russell, Liz Torres, Lil Louis, Steve Hurley and Arnold Jarvis.
The party will start from 6PM around the pool and on the PLAZA MAYOR courtyard with Locura's Saturday night session's ANDREW LIVESEY, followed by HERITAGE DJs Alfredo & Jaime Fiorito until midnight. After that the party will transfer to the NEWLY REVAMPED FREDDIES BAR with special guest COLIN PETERS and some other fresh surprises..
Elton will also be joining us for the party but that's after the Big Match between Bayer Munich and Chelsea in his Suite. Treat yourself to some popcorn and enjoy Ibiza Rocks House Room Service

IBIZA ROCKS HOUSE PRESENTS
‘AN AUDIENCE WITH BARON WOLMAN'
Ibiza, 9th June 2012 (FIX Ibiza).-The Legendary Photographer comes to Ibiza for a one-off event, set to enthrall us with his rockin' rollin' tales from way back in his days as Rolling Stone's first photographer and hangin' out with the original heroes of Rock n Roll.
In an absolutely unique happening on the island of Ibiza, rock n roll photography legend Baron Wolman will host an illustrated talk and exhibition on his life and times as the first photographer of Rolling Stone magazine, his experiences behind the scenes at Woodstock and hangin' out with the likes of Janis, Jimi and Iggy.
This one off collaboration between Ibiza Rocks, Duncan Miller Gallery and Baron Wolman is history in the making- something that all three parties know incredibly well how to do.
A select number of Baron's prints will also be signed and available for purchase at the event
