*** Ibiza Rocks 2013 ***

As has already been said, the majority of the crowd are from the UK, therefore they look to appeal to this market. Maybe the odd Latin American rock group won't provide the ticket sales they require, just a hunch???

And as I acknowledge in my own post mate, I know this scheme is unlikely to happen.

However, there is quite a lot of interest in rock groups from the USA and Canada that could sell out. Aside from the fact that I mentioned latin american rock, the idea of bringing big talent from north america is not so bad.
That is why I did not want to mention names, specifically. However, part of my suggestion was with marketing in mind and the idea of making it appeal to everyone. So the hunch of sales equating directly as being attractive to all is a British idea, Brit promoters servicing Brit clubbers. I sincerely believe, having been in Ibiza briefly, that while the majority are British and Germans that even they would know or benefit from a diverse menu when it comes to the Ibiza rock night.

Now, this is not to come across as combative towards an established formula or idea. Once again, it is something that perhaps I would like to see. There is nothing wrong with being a visionary or having an inquisitive mind when it comes to music, even if as listener.

Third in a series of announcements and this is probably the biggest of the lot of them. Ibiza Rocks have confirmed the last of their headliners, and with the cancellation of the Ibiza 123 festival, it seems they have more than taken up the slack in the whole live music game this year. Exciting stuff!

Surely chic wouldnt have got anywhere near the line up if it wasnt for the daft punk link now.

Whats the chances of the robots turning up for a wee cameo Haha

I dont disagree with the fact they are a good band but wouldn't have been in consideration without the daft punk link imo.

He played the 123 festival last July,I don't think there had been any DP talk out in the open at the time he would have been booked...

I'd rather rogers hadn't worked with daft punk yet since I'm going to be there in September but get the feeling most people going now will only know about him through daft punk and not the rest (and best) of his work in his early days.
